Personaly, I hate Leo. (This is just MY opinion) I dont like leo because he is too childish and his humor does not amuse me. He falls in love with every girl he meets and he acts like a kid about certain things.

He just seems so...real. I would certainly use humor if I was in his situation to lighten things up.

It's really funny to see how he reacts to certain things, like girls. I don't know why you guys are complaining about him liking girls; I mean, there are people out there like that. A lot of people. And it makes sense, because he's surrounded by all these happy couples and he's painfully alone, so that probably makes him more attracted to girls.

I really like him as a character.

Leo went from this dynamic and interesting character to this slowly more and more frustratingly annoying character as the series goes on. I still like him but he's just frustrating enough that I don't care enough about him to talk about him lol.

I LOVE MY LEO. It's in his character that he IS annoying to some of the other characters. He's obnoxious in a really cool way. I absolutely love how he came together as a character.

((Piper, Leo, and Jason aren't in the second book, so I don't get how they could've moved any for the second book, BTW))

The second book thing was just my opinion of them that year x) So in 2011 they got either worse or better lol

Lol I love how everyone disses on the Leo yet no one mentions how much the hephaestus cabin is relied on. Yet how much they sacrifice in being relied on.

Charles died in the last olympian to let percy escape the ship and by time for camp.

Leo nearly dies saving the others at the end of heroes of olympus and not only that he also helped pretty much carry everyone to the end zone. If I may compare then imagine all the other heroes are part of a band but need to get to a concert.Luckily for them a lady loving wise cracking son of gun comes along with a sweet ass ride and take them to the concert. Not only he did that yet he gave one big middle finger to the fates has he refused to die and came back to life then rose up the other middle finger has he came back to ogygia and got calypso out of there on his very own dragon .

the best way to describe the awesomeness of hephaestus kids is when Leo was claimed by his father Hephaestus and jason instead called him his roman name Vulcan. leo then says something about star trek yet I forget what.

What you don't realize though people is how important Leo saying star trek was. It was an easter egg. Face it. Hephaestus kids have their faults like any demigod. Yet that only helps make the great things about them shine.Which for a hepaestus kid its fixing(doing) what others can't. Even if they die doing it.

thats why leo is in my top 10 favorite characters of the two series.

edit: I just remembered that even the awesomeness of the hephaestus characters are shown here in the group for I have one word.
