Newfoundland

[Autumn]

I picked up this moderately rated book at a flea market this weekend, set in Newfoundland. I haven't read it yet, but the cover is so cute...it reads:
By Bernie Howgate, world traveler, arctic explorer and best selling author. "The weather was brutal but the hospitality was fantastic."

I got home, opened it up, turns out it is signed by the author, and inside are two newspaper clippings about Howgate, who apparently sold this book door-to-door after it's publication. A true Maritime find! :)

Anyhoo, I plan to read, then happy to share if you are interested. I'll give it a review after reading.
