Yep, you got it right. :)

Krystal109 | 1086 comments Yea. Sorry for the misunderstanding. A lot of authors try and get their book covers changed.

That's fine.

Dinah wrote: "2. All the works by Dinah Lee Küng are on that author page and my access to the epub files of all the books is restored.
3. All the empty/automated author pages (Dinah Lee Kung, Dinah Kung, Dinah Küng?) which may have crept into the system are deleted."

#3 is true, and #2 should be. Please post here again if it's not.

Dinah wrote: "4. Searchers for Dinah Lee Kung are automatically directed to the author sites, reviews/readers and books for Dinah Lee Küng."

This is, unfortunately, not currently the case. One of our staff members has been working on improving various aspects of the search feature, including that one. Searches are outside the purview of librarians; you may wish to post here.

Dinah Küng (dinahleekung) | 29 comments Thanks very much, Rivka. Unfortunately, just checked number 2, i.e. instead of seeing two titles for sale when I check my dashboard's seller account, I'm still seeing "You have no e-books for sale."

When I check the individual pages for both titles: "A Visit From Voltaire" and "Love and the Art of War", they are available for sale when I read them using the GR Reader. And I can use the edit button on the book box to access the files.

So there's still a disconnect somewhere in the system between being able to edit those epub files and attributing sales to the Dinah Lee Küng profile/ dashboard...?

Meanwhile, happily, there is no problem with the D.L. Kung epub files (2) for sale which are properly linked to that profile.

Many thanks for your time, and my compliments to Krystal109, Alessandra, Banjomike and the other librarians who helped so much.

As for 4, I see that at least the system offers the correct name as an option as you type in the first and second name, so that helps.

Best wishes,
Dinah Lee Küng

Krystal109 | 1086 comments Its a caching thing probably. It will take the system 24-48 hours to fully cache all the way through a lot of changes.

I don't believe having ebooks for sale through Goodreads is a current option. You might try posting in the Authors Group for more details on that, though.

Dinah Küng (dinahleekung) | 29 comments There is a dashboard option for each book, allowing the uploading of epub and pdf files, deciding on the price, allowing for an excerpt, allocating a Paypal account, etc. As you can see when you check the excerpt using the Goodreads Reader at a point (say 10%) the page will say to GR members, "Buy this book." Then at the 50$ mark of accumulated sales, the payments are supposed to be made.

Odd, this isn't known at your end. It adds to my impression that this is still a beta feature, but certainly somebody is handling it at GR.

In any case, the two books that were listed as up for sale under the Dinah Lee Küng profile have mysteriously disappeared. The ones being sold by D.L. Kung are listed just fine.

Perhaps it would be better to talk directly to the staff at GR handling e-book sales than a public posting about a payments question?

Selling ebooks was an option. I believe that option has been temporarily removed while some kinks are worked out. There are probably related discussions in the Authors Group.

If you prefer not to post in the Authors Group, the contact us link is always available.

Dinah Küng (dinahleekung) | 29 comments I see, thanks. Not clear why one profile would lose its e-books for sale and the other not, but hey, maybe that's one of the kinks!
