Sure thing. You're gonna be shocked if I ever do send you some cookies."i>

shocked wouldn't even begin to cover it, probably something closer to awed and amazed
I do miss Tim, but it probably wasn't the cookies that dissapeared him

that sounds good too
my favorite are probably peanut butter cookies, my friend makes the best ones, peanut butter cookies sandwiches with peanut butter in between
he mails them to me and unlike Tressa's cookies, they actually get here

message 60: by Jason (new)

Jason (darkfiction) | 3233 comments Huh ...

I keep hearing about these cookies, but never seen them.

message 61: by Jon Recluse (new)

Jon Recluse | 12043 comments Mod
Neither have I.

Typical women.

All talk, no cookies.

message 62: by Gertie (new)

Gertie (gertiebird) I want cookies that won't be tied to a mysterious disappearance.

The Russian Mob took over the Girl Scouts?

message 64: by Jason (new)

Jason (darkfiction) | 3233 comments The Russian Mob has taken over everything, man!

*You didn't hear that from me ...*

If it's a choice between giving you up or having my nipples yanked off by some guy named Ivan, you are gonna lose, Jason......

Jon Recluse | 12043 comments Mod
But you'll learn how they make people disappear!

*Hint: It involves grinders and meat tenderizer...*

message 68: by Jason (new)

Jason (darkfiction) | 3233 comments I thought it involved sparkly invisible faery powder?!

message 69: by Tressa (last edited Aug 24, 2012 09:26PM) (new)

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments I promised you cookies, Marc? Doesn't sound like something I'd do.

That's for people they respect.....

message 71: by Jason (new)

message 73: by Jason (new)

I thought she meant something else.

message 74: by Jon Recluse (new)

Jon Recluse | 12043 comments Mod
Depends....her screaming or you screaming?
The former is TMI.
The latter is what marriage is all about.

message 75: by Jason (last edited Aug 24, 2012 09:45PM) (new)

Jason (darkfiction) | 3233 comments Oh, it was the former.

... wait a minute ...

message 84: by Jason (last edited Aug 25, 2012 10:12AM) (new)

Jason (darkfiction) | 3233 comments Mmmm ... cookies!

LOL

message 85: by Marc-Antoine (new)

Marc-Antoine | 2888 comments I'm starting to think Tressa's cookies are like a grown up's Santa Claus, she makes you think that if your nice enough you'll get some, but eventually you find out they don't even exist...

message 86: by Tressa (new)

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments Just call me Lucy and come kick my football. Heh heh heh.

message 87: by Gertie (new)

Gertie (gertiebird) I hope cookies isn't a euphemism. Wait, what's this thread about?

message 88: by Jason (new)

Jason (darkfiction) | 3233 comments No euphemism. Just good 'ole chocolate chip cookies that no one will ever see. :)

message 89: by Tressa (new)

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments Oh, yeah, here a cookie is just a cookie. A non-existent one, but a cookie all the same.

Your lust for Marc.....

message 93: by Jason (new)

Jason (darkfiction) | 3233 comments My lust for his great taste in fiction. Why certainly!

message 94: by Jason (new)

Jason (darkfiction) | 3233 comments Are you implying something, Jon?

message 95: by Jason (new)

Jason (darkfiction) | 3233 comments Oh, I think that the implication is there in plain English, Jon. Oh yeah.

Jon Recluse | 12043 comments Mod
Where? :)

message 97: by Gertie (new)

Gertie (gertiebird) Just started House of Leaves (suggested from a thread like this) without knowing much about it and I have to say the way it is written is a bit daunting. Anyone who has read it have any reassurance to offer? :-P

message 98: by Jon Recluse (new)

Jon Recluse | 12043 comments Mod
All I can say is that it's unique.
Personally, I enjoyed it.

message 99: by Jason (new)
