Jenny Davidow (httpwwwgoodreadscomjenny_davidow) | 5 comments In my "currently reading" books section, I *misquoted* the title of a book as "the Well-Spring of Compassion." I want to delete that one and have already entered the correct title of the book as "I've read it" on my book shelf. I am about to post a review and don't want the author to see my mistake! Can you delete it or tell me how? thanks very much!

Alessandra | 108 comments If you go to your "My Books" list, at the far right of every book listing is a tiny "x".

Click on that "x" and you will delete that book from your list.

Jenny Davidow (httpwwwgoodreadscomjenny_davidow) | 5 comments Thanks, Alessandra - but I don't see it. I see "My Books" - "currently reading" - (1) x

but when I click on that X, nothing happens to the item; it's still there under "currently reading." Am I missing something?

Alessandra | 108 comments Hmm. Okay. First, are you going to the "My Books" link from the menu along the top of your pages? That's how I've done it, and it ought to work.

Once there, all of your shelves are listed at the left, starting with "read", "currently-reading", and "to-read", then all of your shelves alphabetically.

Click on "currently-reading" to see all of your books in that list.

That's the listing with the little "x"es at the right.

If you click on the "x" to the right of the book you wish to remove, you should get a dialogue box warning about the removal of the book and the option to click "OK" or "cancel."

Once you click on "OK" the book should be erased.

Sorry, that's the best I can suggest.
