Claudia I jump for joy when she died...I know that's so mean, how dare she do Jace like that. I love me some Jace

Alexandra I hated her when I read CoA, but my interest in and sympathy for her grew as the series continued. Have you read CoG yet? If you have read the Infernal Devices and the rest of the Mortal Instruments series, then you will probably be a lot more interested in her.

No I haven't read CoG yet...I'm working my way toward it...

Alexandra CoG is awesome - there are so many surprises :)

Andrea She honestly reminded me of Umbridge, but whatever!

Blujeanbooks96 I actually respect the inquisitor.. I mean sure she was an absolute bitch, but most of that was out of grief over her son and family and she wanted revenge for what Valentine had done... which is arguable.
When her 'brilliant plan' failed, she realised how wrong she was and tried to make it right - she fought and sacrificed herself for Jace. So I don't think she was all bad. Sure, she was a bitch, but yeah...
Btw agree that she was like Umbridge... but i think Umbridge rules in the bitch contest.

So True...

Ilana i started off hating her but kind of understood where she came from. i JUST started CoG so i don't know that story yet, but i keep thinking that Jace is really her son? (what did she say to him before she died and why did she ask about the scar on his shoulder?)

Natalie I can't tell that I like her, but when I found out how much she loved her son and how she truly believed that every parent have to love his child like that.... I felt sad. Maybe she was bitch, but she had heart. And she saved Jace. I can't hate anybody who saved Jace;)

Actually, I think Jace will end up being her grandson. The Inquisitor's son's name was Stephen Herondale... I just expect Jace to be his son. I know they said that his wife and unborn child were killed, but given the web of surprises in this book, I'll expect it.

Nikita I hated her when she first appeared and was just annoyed that she was so blinded by her hatred for Valentine that she refused to see anything else.

I can understand her pain at the loss of her son and wanted someone to pay but I think she went too far.

I did feel some sadness when she died protecting Jace, which I don't understand other than she wanted to make things right after the wrong she has done.

Maybe I'll find out the reason why in City of Glass.

Sheena At first she was quite rude, but I felt like that was her job, y'know? She had to know how to keep everyone in line. And then when she died, I was upset. She lost her son, her daughter in law, and she never got the chance to get to know her true grandson.
