Sybil: The Classic True Story of a Woman Possessed by Sixteen Personalities by Flora Rheta Schreiber

Aw cool! Yeah, I think the other one is probably Hailey. She's the one that introduced me to Mellick. Apeshit was my first, and I think that was a good one to start out with because it blew my brain apart and just opened my eyes to bizarro. Mellick rocks.

I don't have any paper copies of Mellick's work. All of mine are pdf files or just regular kindle books. You can buy Apeshit on amazon. I think it's only like $7-8 for a paper copy. That's not including shipping and handling of course, but they have kindle copies on their too. I didn't really enjoy The Baby Jesus Butt Plug all that much. I think maybe if there would have been more to it... I don't know. Not really one of my favorites of his, but everything else that I've read of his has been really good.

Which other books have you read by him? Feel free to tell me to bugger off if I'm annoying you with chatter. >.<

Haha no worries! I've read Apeshit, The Haunted Vagina, The Baby Jesus Butt Plug, Crab Town, War Slut, The Morbidly Obese Ninja, and Sausagey Santa.
I have The Cannibals of Candyland, and Zombies and Shit as well. But I haven't read them yet!

Woohoo for tiny little group of Mellick fans!

Ha! Yeah, I've only read two of Maguire's books. Wicked and Confessions, but they really haven't struck me in the right way. I don't know if it's the mood I've been in while reading them or what. The only other one of his books I have is Mirror, Mirror. It'll probably take me a while to get around to reading it. The semester starts monday as well and I'm not going to have time to do as much free reading as I normally do. *sad face*

I've read The Wicked Years which I love deeply and Mirror, Mirror. I liked it. He is incredibly detailed, but not in the exciting way that GRRM is. He is just really interesting to me, but I have been told that I have a habit of finding really boring books, to be very good. He also has a habit of, anyways to me, going on for a bit, and then near the middle or end it picks up more. Well I only experienced that with Mirror, Mirror.
Mood can be a factor too, but probably not where his books are concerned. Like I like them, but I can really see why others wouldn't.
I still haven't read Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, just sits on my shelf, saying "read me" and then I tell it no because I have already read two of his books this year and I ain't in the mood.
Sorry for being all lengthy up in your thread.
Oh and I saw you reading some V.C. Andrews, so is it kind of one long series, his/her books or just all different stories?
And I heard that at some point V.C. Andrews just became a name and a ghostwriter she hired was writing under that name, can you tell the difference, if you have read a book by both?
Oh class, yay? Don't know if you are happy or not.
Also you must teach me your reading ways. You read so fast. You probably don't spend as much time as I do at not doing anything, and that might be why, or maybe you have some awesome reading routine.

I've read The Wicked Years which I love deeply and Mirror, Mirror. I liked it. He is inc..."
I'll read Mirror, Mirror eventually. Just because I have it, and I need to read it.
On V.C. Andrews. I'm reading the Dollanganger series right now. And that's just a 5 book series. There are a bunch of other series, and I have one of her other books called My Sweet Audrina. I've only read up until the third Dollanganger book though. Um, I'm not completely sure on which books the ghostwriter wrote like in whole. I think he wrote the last book in the Dollanganger series and quite a few more. But I haven't read any of Andrew Neiderman's work yet though.
I don't really have a routine, just occasionally read when I'm not doing anything else. In the car. Before bed. While I'm drinking my coffee/eating breakfast. I just space it out quite a bit. And I've been reading a few books at a time as well. And no. Not really excited about school. I'm looking forward to like 2 of my classes out of like 6, but whatever. I'll be okay.

Flowers in the Attic is really good. A few of my friends got really wrapped up in it like last summer, and they talked about it forever. So I decided finally to buy the books. It's really really interesting. A little shocking. Nothing compared to Mellick of course, but I read it before I knew who Mellick was. Haha. Enjoy it whenever you get around to reading it!

I see you've just finished Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. I started reading that last year but had to return it when I moved out of state. I loved his other book, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and was just starting to get into this one. Need to get it again before the movie comes out.

Your reading habits make sense. I started The Green Mile when I got off at work yesterday and probably read for almost two hours and went to bed and today read it whenever I am not busy at work. A little over halfway finished, so that is working better for me, or possibly because it is so wonderful that I am just going through it.
Oh a series, might have to try them out. Love reading series.
Oh gosh, his titles man, that is why I am thankful for my nook, I could just imagine the looks on my grandparents face if I were walking around reading those books.
Sorry that you aren't excited about school, hopefully you end up liking the classes even if you aren't looking forward to them.
