unable to edit/add author info

I don't seem to be able to add my name as an author to some anthologies I have stories in. The Librarian Manual implies it should be straightforward but when I click "edit details" all I get is: "Your permissions will only allow the editing of the metadata". Am I doing something wrong?

You need librarian status for this ability. Authors can't do this.

Please supply links to the books and we will add you.

I looked at your website and added your name to some other anthologies you had listed there. I think I got them all, but let us know if there are more.

Authors can only edit books on their profile - you can either post here in the future to be added to any anthologies or apply to be a librarian yourself which will enable you to make these changes.

Many thanks! Once I get the hang of Goodreads I might see about being a librarian. :-)
