I always feel smug when I predict the killer or figure something important out. My favourite was in Shutter Island.

I watched the movie first, so I knew :(

I hardly ever predict the killer, I get so immersed in the book that I forget to really look for clues lol

Even if you watched the movie first you could have guessed the killer when you were watching.
I don't look for clues, it is just a feeling I get and then I think about why I feel that way.

Yeah, sometimes you don't need to look for clues, especially in movies, because the conventions of filmmaking and storytelling can help you guess. If the camera lingers on something it's important, if the suspect is too obvious he's not the killer, if a character gives someone a funny look...

Can we have the Series Madness Challenge for this year again please? That has always been a favourite of mine... and it was the first one I participated in!

Of course we can. Do you want the same set up or shall I think on it for a couple of days and do a new format for this challenge. All books read this year will of course count towards the challenge.
