5.10 - What Else Can I Read?
Looking for something new? Take a look at this booklist at the Carnegie library - Read Alikes, and choose a book from one of the “read-alike” lists. You may also read the book on which the "read-alike" list is based.
REQUIRED: You do not have to have read the book that the list is based on, but please include in your post the name of that book, as well as the book that you chose.

And while you’re there, take a look around – there are many, many booklists on that site! While there are plenty of enticing booklists, only the "Read-Alike" lists can be used for this task.

Sheila (sheilaj) | 2221 comments I just wanted to say thanks Sandy for the link to this site. It looks like a nice tool to add to my personal list of places to visit online. I still use the literature map website often and I discovered that in a previous season.

You're welcome - I was prowling around, looking for book list sites, and thought this one looked good!

Dionisia (therabidreader) | 329 comments I just wanted to pop in and share how delighted i was to see Carnegie libraries included in one of the tasks! I live in Pittsburgh and fell in love with its library system. Hope everyone enjoys the wealth of resources.

Dee (austhokie) | 8947 comments i laughed when I saw that 50 shades made the list...although it doesn't surprise me...wonder what authors who are on the reads like would think of their work being compared...

Vi | 184 comments I have a question: For the Read-Alike list based on Towers of Midnight, there are a few first in series books present. If we've read the first book, can we read the next book in series?

No, the goal here is to find something new, not to continue a series that you've already begun reading.
