I was wondering if I could make my own little series, like "The Meaning Of-______". I would do things like joy, hate, love, happiness, stuff like that. Things that people seem to often mix up, or underestimate or overestimate their meaning.
PS- I'll try and organize the topics.

So I was thinking of cleaning out some of the "What's your opinion" topics. Cause some of them have up to 1,000 posts. So how far should I delete up to. (June, July, August?)

Which means we have to get everyone involved and interested in joining different discussions on different issues. But we also have to be open/accepting of one another's opinions, and if someone has a slightly-off view, we need to be gentle in helping that individual to grasp the real Christian outlook.

Sounds good to me, Elizabeth! We could all use a refreshing of mind about some of those topics.
And we can use our mod powers to clean the threads from random talking, and to keep the members on-topic!

I think a lot of the time most people just like to get on to chat and rant about personal issues. Some are scared to open their Bibles and share their thoughts on different topics...

You girls are doing a great job as mods. :)
I have one suggestion though. Don't be afraid to delete comments. Especially if they are not relevant to the topic. Half of your work as mods should be cleaning out topics. Especially the new members page, it's okay for people to say hi to newbies, but don't let them set in there and chat. (This goes for all topics too) post a comment letting them know there is a chat thread then delete all non-relevant comments.
Okeydokes. I actually cleaned out some comments yesterday that were WAY off topic- on the Beauty thread, I think it was... I'll be sure to do that more often and direct people to the chat thread. :)

We should move suggestions up. That's where people should be asking if they could start a topic, etc.

I'm wondering about the 'Denominations' folder. Would it be okay to delete it? No once comments in the discussions there (even I don't really have anything to say for those) plus they have been the cause of heated arguments in the past.

It would be good if we try to put topics in their right folders, Important topics in Important, random games in Random... and so on.
