Oh, you have no idea how I am enjoying the story so far Brenda - it is absolutely riveting. I'm definitely going to try my amateur hand at a review on this one.

Yes Brenda, I did, on your advice, read the first one. I enjoyed that one too but I'm enjoying this one even more (I don't know if it's just me, but she seems to have grown in her writing). She truly is a brilliant author and once I've finished this one, I'll be looking to read Burning Lies too.
Your recommendations are awesome :)

Thank you Marcia:) And Burning Lies is even better! Yes, she has grown as an author, and the fact that she won the Ruby for both Wings of Fear and only a couple of weeks ago again for Shattered Sky goes to show what a brilliant author she is!

You're very welcome Brenda. Wow, an award for each book - that's awesome.

Thank you Brenda.
Re Edge of Midnight, I'm only on page 80 and already I am enjoying the story, along with the characters. As always, I'll let you know how it goes.

Hope you feel better soon Trina, congratulations on finishing 4 books - well done, love to hear what you think of a casual vacancy.

What do you think Jess? Didn't take you long to buy it;P

It's quite different to her HP books obviously, and very much not suited to a younger audience; it's a lot darked and for lack of a better word adult-like and mature. But I like it so far. Alot of people have commented to me that they think the story sounds boring, but I like political stories and when I found out what it was about a couple of months ago, I made up my mind then to read it.
Jess wrote: "haha I had to put it out at five pm yesterday (and got harressed and offered bribes all day from customers who couldn't/wouldn't wait until five - I made them wait).

I can just imagine the customers being peeved! Not wanting to come back at 5pm...I noticed Dymocks had theirs out during the day, but with a cover over them! Ha!! I thought that would be against the embargo!!
Glad you're liking it, but I don't think I'll read it;)

Not sure if the boxes were opened as it was covered...but it didn't look like boxes underneath!

Have only 2 books left for this challenge - No's 3 and 7 - still haven't made up my mind about No. 7 but will post as soon as I can.
Happy Reading everyone.

Thanks Brenda - I must say that I have enjoyed this challenge soooo much and hope to do many more with the GR Aussie Readers Group. Of course, when I started it, I thought I was setting the bar a bit high - didn't know if I was going to manage all the books in the 3 months with everything that goes on in my life. But, I have surprised myself.

You certainly have done well Marcia! Easy when it's over 3 months, isn't it;)

Thanks Brenda, but how do I delete that comment? Just tried now and I have no idea (talk about technologically challenged)!!!
I see you have deleted the Brilliant....etc part. Just copy and paste your review from the comment box which you have below the book. Then where you've written the review in the incorrect place, you should have an 'edit' button, maybe a delete button (not sure on that). If there's a delete, just click on that...if only 'edit' just click on that, then erase the lot...

Marcia wrote: "Gee whizz, can't believe I did that - going to rectify it immediately. Thank you soooo much."
Perfect, now just delete the bottom part and you're right:)

Yeah, sorry, I forgot about that (ducks under the desk to hide her embarrassment)! Thank you.
