Collen what is kindle? I live in Nassau, Bahamas. And how can I submit my work to them? Is there a link or website I can be referred to?
Just finished the fourth one. Why does this keep happening to me??? I finish a book and I'm heart broken. Then I finish the next one and I'm upset because I don't find out what happens. Then I get my heart broken again!
I read 100 pages of "city of bones' and I couldn't continue, is it gonna be better ?should I give it a second chance ? and which on your opinion is the best book of the series ;D ?
I read the whole series and I am heartbroken that it's over. The series got better and better with each book and the plot twists were killing me! Definitely a must read.
Just finished COHF I have to wait a year and a half
This is the most messed up series I've ever read, but I love it! Though I have to admit, I do like TID more than TMI because it's so much more heartbreaking, so much less name changes and WILLIAM HERONDALE!!
Th Mortal Instruments Series are probably the best books I've ever read! Just finished the last book and feel really sad that they're all over :(
OMG I just finished hevenly fire and it was just the perfect boook with the perfect conclusion and its practically the past and future colliding and i feel so broke, god I cant get over this book.
I just finished Kalona's Fall from the House of a Night series. And I know I am way behind everyone else in reading this one but I just started City of Heavenly Fire. I have tried very hard to stay away from any spoilers. I am very excited about being able to finally start reading it.
The Mortal Instruments series and the Infernal Devices series are by far my favorite series I have read. Cassandra Clare is an awesome author! I recommend these books to everyone!
The mortal instruments were well written, with well developed characters, plot, and setting. All of them were 5 stars! Amazing!
By far my favorite YA PNR...Cassandra Clare cares about each and every one of her characters...she pulls the reader so intricately into the beautiful details of her story that you never want to emerge... loved the series from start to finish!
Definitely not Lilia...TID would simply give you additional insight into Jem and Tessa; as well as an understanding of the Herondale line (ie Will Herondale)...Cassandra Clare is so brilliant at creating those interconnections between her characters...you will love TID as well! Enjoy:)
@Theresa I have been dying to read TID and all of Cassie's other books! I absolutely love TMI btw :) . I did hear that COHF would spoil some parts of TID though
It just gives you some additional insights...I don't necessarily think it spoils anything...I read the majority of TMI before TID and it didn't spoil anything for me...There are some relationship pieces that it can spoil, but the journey with TID is all it's own...I think you will enjoy TID just as much as TMI...Enjoy! I love Cassandra Clare's writing!
I love the mortal instruments. especially the characters. they were really awesome. it's a definitely a 5 star book
I am going to say something that most of you will hate me for. I actually think the mortal instruments book series is trash. These are angsty teen romance novels masquerading as fantasy fiction. The books had a great initial idea of half angel demon hunters but Cassandra Clare's execution of that idea sucks big time. There is nothing original about the books. She absolutely loves incest and keeps coming up with weird obstacles to keep her lead couple star crossed. It all gets very repetitive very fast. I am confused as to why fans like these books. May be you guys can enlighten me.

Th..."Yeah, you're right, most of people will probably hate you for this :D The thing is that you have to get through the book 1, 2 and 4 and enjoy the rest as much as you can. Also for reading this, I think you have to have at least a tiny bit of evil in you because the last three books I was rooting for Sebastian just so hard!!! Don't know why (maybe I am dark and twisty on the inside), but i just love that character. <3
