Crow's Row
question
Does Crow's Row need more S-E-X?

So you guys know that I'm writing the sequel to Crow's Row. I've been getting a lot of emails lately, asking that the sequel have descriptive sex scenes. I'm asking all of you Crow's Row lovers...and haters, should the sequel be less PG13 and more Shades of Grey???? Does sex make a better story?

I don't think it NEEDS it but, yes! It would be nice to get into the physical relationship of Cameron and Emily. Spice things up a bit!!! When is the second book going to be released? I can't wait!!!
It does. I agree- it doesn't have to be explicit, but when I was reading Crow's Row I had the feeling that Cameron was uncomfortable with sex. No one wants their book hero uncomfortable with sex. =)
Definately!!!!! that was the only thing that I thought was missing. I agree that it will express the passion and love more that they have for each other. Plus people are loving abit of sexual chemistry in books - it adds to the excitement!!! Can't wait for the second book - when is it expected to be released????
Loved Crow's Row just the way it is.... OMG! I can't wait for the sequel... I am going through Cameron withdrawl!
A little more would be okay, but not 50 Shades extreme. The first book was great the way it was, so if Emily & Cameron deepen their relationship then it would be a natural progression.
I don't think it would change the readers understanding of the relationship between Emily and Cameron but we are all assuming in ok 2 that Emily and Cameron are together....I don't know if I could take reading about either of them WITH someone else I'm already heartbroken after the ending of Crow's Row.
A book with a great story can go without descriptive sex scenes but if I feel the chemistry between two characters, it is nice to see the emotional side of sex. Just don't make every other page a sex scene;)
It would definitely benefit from taking on the physical side of love. Without it the whole narrative feels lame.
Yes, more romantic love scenes... descriptive.. not shades of grey bdsm.. thats not cameron and emily... but passion, hot, intense sex scenes and lots of them... i am hoping for a huge reunion with them!! one that will knock me to the floor!!
YES!! It would be amazing to see more passion between them and a part of that is the sex and intimacy of the relationship! Cant wait to read the sequel. When will it be out?? thanks!!
Oooh! A little more Shades of Grey would be nice. Not full on porn, just a bit more details. More passion. Either way for me is good though. I will say that even without the sex scenes, I loved Crow’s Row.
You owe us a hot passionate reunion after that ending!!! :D I don't see Cameron as a Christian Grey wannabe but some smut is always welcome!
I honestly don't think this book would need super descriptive sex. I enjoyed the other tremendously without it so I don't feel the strong need for it. Yet, I do see where some people feel that they need to read a steamy sex scene in order to feel the connection between the characters but I think in Crow's Row the connection was there regardless!
yeah id like to see some more physical action but not too much! as it has such a great story behind it. don't let the sex take over the book as ppl will just skim over if its too much. cannot wait for sequel!
S-E-X can show a human, emotional, vulnerable side to characters. It can be done to give us (the fan) a glimpse of how committed and bonded both Cameron and Emily are and will be. Cameron is in a world where being vulnerable is a sign of weakness, and by showing us that he can be physically involved with Emily will alow us to reaffirm that this relationship is for him and her, real. So yes I would like to see a steamer side for both characters. Does that make sense? Lol. I hope this helps.
Yes, I think more steamy and detailed love scenes between the characters do make the book a little better. I think this because it shows the passion and love between the characters and I would LOVE to see more of that between Emmy and Cam. I felt their sex scenes were dull because of the lack of description. However, the story was still AMAZING!
So I am all for a little less PG13 and more Shades of Grey. ;)

I don't think it NEEDS it but if it was there it wouldn't be so bad. The first one was so good and it kind of left it to our imaginations which was a nice change from all the other books that go into specific detail. I'll all for it though, would be nice to read the passion and love between them in that position.
I think that if they are reunited at some point in the book, then that type of love is definitely needed. There was so much sexual tension between them, that it is inevitable.
