Natasha's hand went to her stomach and she smiled weakly. "Stab wound. Remember?" She breathed, leaning her head against the wall and closing her eyes. "But I'm alright. You?"

Bruce blinked. Right... "Hope you didn't reopen any scar tissue." He muttered. "You should go to the hospital... Afterwards, and get it checked out." He rubbed his face and nodded. "I'm fine."
Natasha shook her head adamantly. It would take a herd of centaurs to drag her back there. "Like I said, I'm alright." She glanced at him. "You, on the other hand, look tired." She stood up with some great effort, looking over at Frea. "Welcome to the Avengers, kid." She said, smirking a bit. "Be ready to face missions like that every week."
Frea just looked at her, blinking feverishly. "Thanks...?" She said, a little uncertainly as she mulled the statistics of survival if they faced that hell every week.Bruce just sat there for a while after. He was tired. Very. It felt like a weakness. Natasha was still up and going, and she had a freaking stab wound. He was completely unharmed and almost ready to pass out. If he spent more time thinking about it, it was because of his stress levels and abnormal body chemistry. He couldn't stand much without giving in.
Natasha looked down at Bruce, sighing. "Come on, big guy." She hefted him to his feet. "Let's get you to bed."
He sighed and struggled to his feet, relying more on her than he had planned on. Bruce thought of saying something, but then gave up, just walking off.Frea was a little excited. It had begun to set in. She suddenly dashed out of the room. CRAP was she going to have a wicked diary entry today...
Natasha jerked away when Frea raced out of the room. "Someone still has some energy." She muttered, walking beside Bruce as they went to his room.
"Yeah..." Bruce said quietly, looking after Frea for a moment. Then he pushed his door open and walked in, flicking the light switch on.
"G'night." He called after her, although his watch read four in the morning. Bruce shook his head, getting into bed and instantly falling into a coma-like sleep.
Lily bounced into Noir's room. "Hey guys, guess what?" She pouted when she saw them sleeping together. "Barf, how cliche." She sneered, then proceeded to take a cell phone picture.
Noir frowned, then snapped awake. She sat up and stared at Lily with narrowed eyes untainted by sleep. "What?" She asked, then noticed the phone. "Take a picture and I snap it in half." She said flatly, not really caring if the girl took a picture or not anyway.
Lily tucked the phone in her pocket. "Already took one." She grinned at Noir. Nick was still fast asleep. "Nick, get up." Lily went over and smacked his butt roughly. The boy startled awake. "WHA!" He rolled and tumbled off the bed. "Ow."Lily giggled, looking down at him.
Noir had to forcibly frown to keep from laughing. "Hey," She leaned off of the bed to look at him. "How's that for a wake-up call?" She smirked darkly and glanced over at Lily.
Nick looked up at her, confused and dazed. "What's going on?" He caught sight of Lily and frowned. Lily perked up, remembering what she had come here for. "Oh! The Avengers were here. They stole Ash and Brax back while we were sleeping. Well, you guys were sleeping. I was awake the second I smelled them."
"What?" She stared over at Lily, shocked. Her mouth opened and closed as she searched for something else to say on the top of the failure, but soon just shrugged. "Too bad we don't all have dog noses like you." She rolled her eyes. Noir swung her legs off of the bed and stood up, offering her hand down to Nick in order to help him up.
"It's cat noses, I'll have you know." Lily said through gritted teeth. Nick took Noir's hand and stood rather easily. "Thank you." He kissed her forehead.
Lily rolled her eyes. "But anyway." Her eyes glittered excitedly. "The good news is, Crystal the Psychic was on the mission and I kidnapped her in return. Fight fire with fire, right?" She smiled sweetly.
"Mm," Noir made a face of geniune disagreement. "I don't like that saying." She said simply. She didn't like fire in general. "But alright. At least you did something. Where is she?"
"In the holding cells near the torture rooms." Lily said. "We can do whatever we want with her." She smiled again, hunger in her eyes. "And Thomas found out a way to hack into the SHIELD'S email system. We could send them graphic videos of us torturing her." She clapped her hands together in delight. Nick looked slightly intrigued by the idea but said nothing. Instead, he searched for his glasses.
Noir nodded, thinking it over. "Sounds good," She said, approving whether her opinion mattered or not. "You'll have to do the videos, though. I don't show up on cameras." Her hair began to untangle itself from the small mess it had made of itself as she slept and was soon well 'combed.'
Nick watched Noir's hair with vivid rapture, mystified. "Right. Penny will want to do some too. She loves torture." Lily smiled proudly. "Just like her mama."
Noir raised her eyebrows at the mention of Penny, but nodded. The kid kinda freaked her out. "Sure, why not?" She said, and then felt Nick's eyes on her. She tured around to look at him with an obvious question written on her face.
Nick blushed and looked away, turning apple red. "I agree. We should do it soon while the oven is hot."Lily licked her lips. "That reminds me. We need to go shopping." She said, putting her hand to her growling stomach.
Noir shrugged it off and nodded. "Well we can't torture and go shopping at the same time." She said reasonably. "I suggest a few of us goes shopping, while the others begin the torture. Then the torturers can break when the shopping party gets back to take over." She suggested thoughtfully, her lips pursed.
"I call torturing first!" Lily exclaimed, her hand shooting into the air. "Take Penny with you for shopping. She's bored out of her poor little mind."At that moment, Penny lowered herself from the ceiling, upside down, her hair flying as she grinned at them.
Crys arrived with Bruce at the hideout, specifically in the room she was tortured in. The place reeked of the metallic scent of blood and the substance was still in puddles on the ground. Crys didn't seem to notice."Lily!" She called.
Bruce stiffened, not very used to teleporting at all. He looked around and felt yet another drop of dread. The blood immediately made him feel sick.
Lily stepped into the room, her light blond hair tied back into an elegant ponytail with a strand loose over her eye. She wore a suit similar to Natasha's, complete with knives and a shotgun. Since she had joined Loki's army, she had grown about a foot so now she could pass for a young woman. Her eyes were sharp with intelligence. "You brought him." She sounded surprised.
Crys hopped in the air happily. "Yep! Like I said. What now?"
"You may leave us." Lily ordered, staring at Bruce with an expressionless face.
"Yes ma'am." Crys bowed slightly and exited, skipping away.
Buce looked over at Lily, trying not to give his nervousness away. He glanced at Crys as she skipped out, worried about the Crystal inside her.
Lily shut the door behind Crystal, then turned to Bruce, crossing her arms over her chest. She stared at him silently, not making any sudden moves. ((Hey, I was wondering. Do you still want to do that thing we were planning to do with Lily's poison being a cure for the Hulk? Of course, she would only scratch him once as the Hulk and wouldn't give up the poison or anything.))
Bruce was silent for a long time, just blinking at Lily as he chewed his lip. "Hi." He finally managed in a voice that broke the silence almost painfully.((Yes. I think that would be great. ^.^ But it might take away from his purpose, so maybe, I was thinking, the 'cure' could be like a temporary antidote. A month or so or something like that? I really want a cure but taking the Hulk away would be a detriment. :P))
((Not really a 'cure'. It forces him to shrink back into a human but he can still become the Hulk if he gets angry.))Lily blinked. "Hi." She replied. She stepped forward and held her hand out. "I believe we got off to a bad start. Hello, I'm Lily. No last name." She smiled, with no malice or trickery behind it.
((Excellent! I approve!))Bruce eyed the hand but didn't take it. "Dr. Bruce Banner. And yes, we did." He did not sound like he wanted to amend their bad start, however. "Why am I here?"
((YAY!))Lily made an 'alright, whatever' gesture with both hands, tilting her head forward slightly. "You're here because I wanted you here." She answered, examining her nails tediously.
Bruce nodded a little and glanced around the room. "Thanks for clearing that up." He murmered, trying to keep from sounding disgruntled. He failed.
Lily laughed and smiled again. "The reason you're here is to--" "Mama! Mama!" Penny suddenly threw open the door, running to her mother and hugging her. She gasped when she saw Bruce and ran over to him, giving him a hug as well. "Mama, you got him! Thank you!"
Lily grinned at her daughter. "Bruce, you've met my daughter, Penelope."
Penny giggled, looking up at Bruce happily.
Bruce jumped as Penny hugged him, looking down at her in surprise. "Yeah we've met," He said, glancing back over at Lily. He didn't want to say too much, not trusting his mouth not to complicate his situation. "She gets around." He added, remembering how she had popped into the lab the other day.
"She sure does." Lily gave Penny a slightly disapproving glare and Penny shrunk, giggling as she squeezed Bruce tighter. "Anyway. You're here because it's my daughter's birthday. And she requested you be her...present." You could tell by Lily's tone she was disgusted by the idea.
Bruce stopped, blinking at Lily with an unsure look on his face. Then he looked back down at Penny curiously and tilted his head to the side. "Present?" He echoed, glancing over at Lily again. "I'm her present? Her birthday present?" It was taking a while to register.
Lily grimaced and nodded once. Penny bounced up and down excitedly. "I'm 1 year old today!" She said, even though she looked like she could have been at least eight years old. "She really seems to enjoy your company. So yes, you're her birthday present. Just don't try anything vulgar or I will kill you." Lily said, narrowing her eyes in warning.
Bruce didn't know whether to be relieved or what. He almost felt like he could laugh, but didn't, of course. He nodded and put his hands into his pockets. "Nothing vulgar." No promises. He gave Penny a bit of a strained smile. "Happy birthday, Penny."
Penny smiled and hugged him again. "What do you say, Penny?" Lily asked patiently.
Penny almost seemed to blush, the color matching her hair and eyes. "Oops." She giggled and looked up at Bruce. "Thank you."
"Good girl." Lily said.
Bruce nodded slowly. Alrighty, then. This was very unexpected. He had been anticipating something nastier. But then, when he thought about it, it wasn't like they could really torture him anyway. Not for very long. He turned to Lily. "So, I'm just going to be here with your kid. Nothing... else?" He raised an eyebrow.
Lily blinked slowly, thinking. "I'll ask Lord Loki if he has any uses for you...which I assure you, he will." Penny looked crestfallen so she quickly amended her statement. "But that won't happen for a while. You're here now as my daughter's....playmate, I suppose I could call you." Lily smirked lightly. "And nothing else."
Bruce made a face that was somewhere inbetween distaste and amusement. He shrugged and shook his head. "Alright, then." He said, not entirely upset about his predicament as it stood. Being a playmate somehow made him feel odd, though. It was a strange set-up, he gave it that.
"Come on! I wanna show you my room!" Penny said, taking his hand and dragging him out of the torture room and into the hallway. Lily watched them closely as they left.
