Noir stopped, the tongues pausing. "N-Nick?" She whispered, seeing the shadows and loosening a grip on Crystal's throat.

Crystal broke away from Noir's grip and stumbled back, gasping. "Curse this weak human body." Nick muttered, rubbing Crystal's neck. He/she looked up at Noir and gave a sheepish smile. "Sorry. I couldn't find a better body. The mind had to be open and she was the only I could find on short notice." He/she said quietly, letting the shadows curl over her fingers.
Noir just stared, a frozen look of shock on her face. Slowly, her trembling hands went to her mouth and she took a shuddering breath. "I thought..." She nearly cried. "I thought you were dead." Her voice cracked and broke on the last word, squeezing her eyes shut.
Crystal stood, and after a moment's hesitation, she hugged Noir. "I'm sorry I made you worry." Nick's deep, soft voice in her ear. "I may be a creature of shadow; but my body was simply human. It was weak. I had to find another body to take over." The shadows surrounded them in a warm embrace, purring like cats.
Noir shivered, feeling her smoldering rage begin to ebb. She whimpered, holding him....her, close. "Don't..." She whispered. "Don't you ever do that to me again."
"Never." Crystal/Nick whispered. Then she/he pulled away and kissed Noir, forgetting that he was in Crystal's body. Lily walked out of her room, about to go rescue her daughter when she spotted the two 'girls'. Her eyes went wide. This was her;
((XD GIF Heaven tonight, hey?! LOL))Noir, in her incredible relief, hardly even noticed the difference. For a few moments anyway. Then she stopped and slowly pulled back. "Nick..." She said carefully, trying to think of how best to put this. "You know you are in the psychic girl's body, right?" She noticed Lily and sent such a warningful, demonic glare the walls literally shuddered, shadowed with a subtle red.
((Yes, very much so.))Lily would have laughed her normal mad laugh, but she was too focused on getting her daughter back to make a comment. She slipped out silently.
Crystal/Nick blinked and nodded. "I know." Then his eyes widened and he backed up. "Oh crap, sorry. I just didn't--" He trailed off, Crystal's cheeks turning red.
Noir just turned and smiled at him, shrugging. "It's fine," She assured him, too happy to care. "Whatever works, I really don't care. I'm just so glad you're back." With that she wrapped her arms around Crystal's neck and gave Nick a hug, finding the whole kissing bit still awkward. She let go, smoothing her hair back with a sigh. "But can you eventually... You know... Change bodies?" Noir bit her lip.
Nick nodded rapidly. "Yeah, of course. As soon as I find another suitable mind to invade, I can...be a boy again." He turned red again and sat down on the floor, overcome with emotions.
Noir looked down at Nick sadly, feeling for him. She slowly sat down beside him, putting her hand into his. "It's okay," She told him quietly, pulling his new hand up onto her lap. She watched herself rub her thumb across the girly one she held.

Crystal/Nick looked at her, then looked at their joined hands. He actually began to snicker. Snickering evolved to full on laughter. "I'll have to find a new body fast." He mumbled. ((Oh, hi Midnight. :P Lily's daughter has been captured by the Avengers. She just went off to save her.))
((^.^ Yeppers. Not all green over here, no mam! ;) Now you can help your wife save your daughter.))
Noir smirked, her gaze sliding over to him. "Please do." She said, looked back down at Crystal's hand. "You got nice nails, though."

Mason appeared after being gone for so long.It was hard to focus because he had to drop out of sight of his brother and find Lily.

Nick smiled slyly. "Thanks. But I could do without the breasts though. They get in the way when I move my arms." Lily appeared out of nowhere in front of Mason. "Mason." She said in not an exactly friendly voice. "Penny's been taken captive. Let's go." She said, walking out of the hideout.
Mason followed.He could understand Lily being mad at him,he was kinda mad at himself too.
Noir's head ducked forward and her mouth opened in a mixture of laughter and shock. She glanced over at him/her and grimaced. "Must suck." She said. She sobered then and cleared her throat. "So when do we go body shopping?" She asked, getting more uncomfortable with the idea of her boyfriend in a girl's body every moment.
"Right now if you're ready." Crystal/Nick stood and offered her hand. The shadows around his head squealed and swirled with excitement.
She took it and stood gracefully, pushing her hair back with her other hand. "I am. Where were you thinking of looking? I don't suggest downtown." Noir honestly didn't want him adopting a body from a bad part of town and end up addicted to crack.
"Um, someplace we can find boys with open minds." Nick said, not very hopefully. An open mind was hard to find these days. "Any suggestions?"
Noir took a deep breath, thinking. "We could try the high school..." She murmered. Doubtful, but possible nonetheless. "Or the university campus, if you don't mind being eighteen." She really didn't have many ideas. "We could just walk for a while and see what we find. Maybe we'll get an idea on the way." She suggested, shrugging.
Nick nodded, biting Crystal's lip. "Okay." He took Noir's hand again and walked out of the hideout, heading towards the park.
((Yes. Yes it does.))Noir knew what it looked like. Crystal holding her hand like that in public. But she didn't care. Not at all, in fact. Before they left she magically changed into street clothes, her thin black dress a little conspicuous. In jeans and a tee shirt, she walked down to the park with she-Nick.

Mason opened the door of the hideout wait for Lily and Penny to come in
Lily went in with Penny, licking Eve's blood off her finger. "I'm hungry, mama. What's for dinner?" Penny asked. "They didn't give me any food the entire time I was in there. I was stuck listening to the high school drama between Natasha and the other two men." She rolled her eyes.
Lily frowned slightly but gestured to the kitchen. "Whatever food you want." She smiled and kissed her daughter's forehead. Penny meowed happily and went off.
Mason watched Penny run off then turned to Lily,"I bet you want more answers and or to yell at me."he said slightly tilting his head to the side

Lily thought about it, biting her lip, then shook her head. "No." She grinned, then flung herself into Mason, wrapping her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck and kissed his face. Literally, attacked him with kisses.
