Natasha glanced behind her. "And the shadows are gaining on us." Too late, as she said it, a tendril of black shadow wrapped around her ankle and she fell, being dragged into the darkness.

Jac had a secret fear of the dark and shadows, but she forced herself to run after Natasha. She halted, her eyes widened as it became pitch black. She whimpered quietly.

"Natasha!" clint yelled weakly as he tried to go towards her, thinking better of it he backed away

" Jac, you need to run far away from here. Go hide somewhere else Im staying here."

Natasha pulled out a knife and calmly tried to cut the shadow away but it had no effect, as it was simply darkness. "Clint!" She threw her hand out as she was dragged back.

Jac's breathing was a forced calm and quiet, but there was a slight detecton of raggedness.

"Sh, shshshsh..." Noir forced a grimace and put a long, pale finger to her lip as she cane even closer. Now only a foot away from Clint. "Don't worry about your little girl," she whispered. "I got her taken care of." With that a cloud of grey smoke plumed out if nowhere around her feet and long tendrils of black slick arms came lashing out, crawling across the floor and wrapping around Jac. They held her firmly and dragged her to the ground.

Jac was shaking even harder, but she refused to let herself make a noise. Still, her breath was slightly louder.

Noir shrugged, standing there as if she were talking to an old friend. "I dunno. You kinda just walked in without knocking. How else should I treat enemy intruders?" She laughed in a ringing bell-like tone, looking at him with a piqued eyebrow as if to ask if he was serious.

Jac stayed still, not moving whatsoever. Only her stomach went slightly up and down with her breath. She didnt even blink.

The arms grabbed tighter onto Jac's body and a slick, oil-like substance oozed into her clothes and onto her skin. It was a burning poison. It wouldn't kill her, not even close unless Noir wanted it to. Instead it stung fiercly, like a liquid poison ivy

Jac winced, whimpering the slightest. BUt she had felt worst. The girls at the clinic weren't exactly weak.
