Lily giggled and picked up Penny, cradling her head. "She seems to really like you." She pointed out.

Penny reached out towards Ezra. "Papy!" She said, smiling. Lily's eyes widened and she glanced at Mason.
Mason went wide eyed and looked at Ezra who looked deeply disturbed

Penny had no idea what was going on so she just giggled. "Wow, you can feel the awkward." Lily said, forcing a smile. "She's just playing." She assured Mason, but she was looking at Ezra.

Mason wasn't listening he watched Ezra and how his blue eyes were shifting in shade like memories were flashing in his eyes for a second he thought he saw the face of a young boy but it was too quick to tell

Penny whined when Ezra left and started crying. Lily bounced her up and down to calm her, stroking her head. She looked at Mason and nudged him with her hip. "You okay?"
Mason nodded,"I'm just gonna find out something."He said running out after Ezra

Lily watched after him. She rocked Penny to sleep and put her in her bed, closing the door behind her. Then she raced after Mason.
Noir sighed and sat down at the kitchen table with a box of Oreos. She did the usual separating ritual and after about thirty cookies had been dissected, she stared at them without much interest.
Nick snuck up behind her and grabbed a dissected cookie and popped it in his mouth. Then he kissed Noir, tasting like cream and chocolate. "Hey." He sat next to her.
"Oh, hi." Noir looked up, smiling lightly as he kissed her.
Nick picked up another Oreo, popped it in his mouth and swallowed without chewing. "How are you?"
"Me?" She almost seemed taken aback. "I'm fine." Noir watched Nick eat, hands folded in her lap.
"Good." Nick said, nodding a bit. He looked at all the Oreo's mutilated forms. "You've been busy, I see."
Noir quickly looked away and stared guiltily at the cookies silently. She reached out and nudged a cookie piece with her finger. "Yeah."
Nick reached out and took her hand, rubbing his thumb over her knuckles. "Something bothering you?" He asked quietly.
"No..." She said, watching their hands. "I hate Oreos." Noir said suddenly and scowled at the cookies. "But I can't stay away from them." She added in an undertone, barely audible.

Nick frowned and looked at the cookies. "I like them." He said mildly, eating another one. He didn't want them all to go to waste. "So you like taking them apart, but not eating them? Huh, that's strange."He glanced at the sack and sensed a human body in it. "Dazen!" He called. "Did you happen to steal a little girl today?"
((Otter cage...?))She didn't say anything but smushed a cookie filling with the palm of her hand ruefully. Noir looked up as Nick yelled and pursed her lips. "Not again."

Nick nodded. "Tina." He answered. "The shadows have been watching them. The Hulk and her older brother are looking for her. You left evidence."
Noir got up finally and glided over, her feet making no noise on the floor.
Nick turned, sensing Noir behind him. "Yes?" He said, his eyes twinkling.
She smiled at him in a sheepishly and twined her fingers around his quietly. "Hi." she whispered.
"Hi." Nick whispered back, brushing a strand of her hair back.
"What's up?" She asked coyly, putting her head on his shoulder easily.

Nick smiled. "Nothing much. You?" He put his arm around her.
"Meh." Noir shrugged. "I was busy with my cookies..." She nudged him gently. "But you dragged my attention away from that. How am I supposed to get anything done?" She joked, reaching up to plant a small kiss on his cheek, grinning.
Nick smiled bashfully. "You were too pretty sitting there all alone I had to join you." He whispered in her ear, pulling her close.
"That's a pretty good excuse." Noir whispered back, letting him tug her near as she folded her hands behind his back.

((I actually drew how I imagine Penny as a baby. It's cute. ^_^))
She gave Nick a small smile and took a deep breath, letting go of one hand and running her hand through the top of her long hair. "Do you know where Lily is?" She asked suddenly, curiosity getting the better of her. Lily was slowly dying, what was she doing with her 'final moments?'
Nick shook his head. He closed his eyes and murmured something under his breath. When he opened them again, they were a clear grey, with no pupil. He was looking past Noir, like she wasn't there. "Lily is with Mason and Ezra in Manhattan. It looks like they're having some kind of discussion." He said, his eyes still grey as he took over the body of a shadow to watch the scene. ((OHMYGOSH, I MUST SEEEE! If it's okay with you. :P))
