Lily leaned against the wall, suddenly exhausted. The dancing had taken all the energy out of her and now she felt like she was about to pass out.

Mason sat next to Lily and put an arm around her.He couldn't come up with words to say
"Boy, you're a huge help." Lily muttered under her breath, moving out of Mason's arm. She stood and walked unsteadily to the door and opened it, exiting quickly.
Ezra coughed a laugh
Mason kicked Ezra and followed after Lily

For a fifteen year old girl who had just given birth, gone through surgery, and is currently dying from the toxins in her bloodstream, Lily walked pretty dang fast. She was already outside, breathing in the cold night air.
((Ok))
Mason didn't take long to catch up to Lily.He moved without the sound of foot steps. It made him a pretty great ninja

Lily ignored Mason's presence and simply looked out at the city mournfully. (I'm gonna say they're on the roof of the hideout) She said nothing, just stared with dead eyes.
Mason stood beside her not saying anything just staring and his eyes flashed on occasion as if memories or just random things were reflected in them
((( Hmmm..... TEchnically. Evea's walking around Manhatten, and Jacs talking to Ash about going out to eat in Brooklyn.))
Katja (The Insane Mutant Cat) wrote: "Nick frowned, moving hair out of Noir's face timidly. "Stand a chance against what?" He asked.""Life." She answered him in a small voice, glancing over at him and giving him a shy, sad, look that betrayed her hidden rue against her given path and how she felt the same for Penny.
Nick looked down at Noir with a similar expression. "I don't believe that." He said quietly. "I think she'll make it."
Noir gave a ghost of a smile. "Yeah, but it won't be easy." She said, half to herself. She brought her knees up to her chest and took a deep breath, not mourning but understanding with detail and depth.
Noir bit her lip momentarily and then stopped, looking over at Nick and forcing a smile. "Nothing." She said, taking his hand and squeezing it as she saw his worry. She leaned her head aganst his shoulder silently, words not nessisary.
Nick frowned, the only show of frustration was the tightening of his jaw. "Fine, don't tell me." He mutters, looking away.
Nick glanced at her and looked away quickly again. "Maybe. Why won't you tell me?" He looked like a little boy who was given a cookie just to have it snatched away again.
"That's cute." Noir smirked weakly and watched him. "I don't know." She said, looking down at her feet. "I just... I guess I'm just not used to sharing thouht like this." She admitted her ears warm with shyness.
Nick smiled a little. "You can tell me, it's okay." He wouldn't admit he wasn't used to it either. A shadows stroked Noir's head encouragingly but Nick waved it off.
Noir looked up at the touch and grinned after the shadow in amusement. She glanced over at Nick and sobered, swallowing. "I know." She whispered. "I'm just sad for that girl... I can just relate. My mum died when I was little too." She said quietly.
Noir suddenly put her hands to her face and let her shoulders shake once with stiffled sadness. "What do you mean?" She asked for a few moments, her voice the slightest bit pitchy. She looked over at Nick, blinking.
"I mean, Thomas or Mason will come up with something to save her." Nick said with feeling. "Or I will, if I have to. We won't let Lily die."
Nick leaned his head against the wall, his eyes scrunched up tightly. "If only I knew how." He sighed.
Noir frowned and sighed quietly, putting her head on her knees. "That would require a miracle." She stated in a sore voice.
