Lily didn't respond, panting as she tried to get air in. Her face and skin was extremely pale, and the blanket on top of her was starting to become red with her blood.

"Oh no."Mason gently grabbed Penny and laid her down next to Lily.Mason began panicking a bit he didn't know what to do.
((*sigh* Mason is useless sometimes, I swear.))Penny started crying and Lily feebly put a hand out towards her. Penny sucked on her finger, satisfied. Lily smiled a bit before slipping into unconsciousness.

Mason looked at Penelope then at Lily and took a deep breath to calm himself.Mason moved so that he could see what was bleeding exactly while he was his flames reached out to Penny brushing her cheek changing colors.They made a melody that sounded like Lily's lullaby

Penny lit up into blue flames with glee, reaching out to touch Mason's flames. Thomas walked in, carrying a few things. When he saw the blood, he was at Mason's side in an instant. "What is it?" He asked worriedly.
"I'm not sure."Mason said calmly to keep his flames calm and colorful for Penny
Thomas lifted the blanket and winced. "It doesn't look good. Her uterus is bleeding and she might have torn something." He paled, looking at all the blood.
Mason shuddered,"What do we do now?"He asked struggling to keep his voice calm
"I don't know. She might need surgery. If she keeps bleeding like this..." Thomas swallowed hard, his eyes filling with tears. "She might die." Penny's tiny ears twitched, as if she understood what that meant and she started crying again.
Mason picked up Penny and looked at Thomas,"Don't say that...it's not gonna happen.We can fix this."He said his eyes glossy
Thomas just nodded and picked up something from he carried in. It was a syringe. "First things first, we need to bring her into the lab; there's an IV there and we can monitor her blood rate and put some blood into her."
Penny grabbed a fistfull of Mason's hair and bit his ear, sucking.
"Alright but bare with me."He said referring Penny.
"Need help?"Ezra asked standing in front of Mason and Thomas.
"Where did you come from?Never mind."Mason said standing up holding Penny on his shoulder keeping her in place with his hand

Thomas glanced at Ezra, not caring who he was. He waved his hand and Lily was gently lifted from the bed by vines. Thomas walked out of the room and the vines carrying Lily followed, to the lab.Penny moved her hand up and down in kind of like a wave.

Nick was back in Noir's room, lying on her bed and staring at the ceiling. He heard a commotion outside but chose to ignore it. He couldn't deal with any more 'birth problems' today.
Noir stepped back into her bedroom and closed the door, blocking out any noise thankfully. She turned around and jumped when she saw Nick. "Hey," she said in surprise.
Nick's eyes slid over to her. His hands were folded across his stomach. "Hey." He replied. "Is Lily okay?"
Noir gave a small shrug. "I think so. I left before it uh," She paused. "before it got to complicated. Thomas was there, anyway. He'll figure it out; the poor b*st*rd." She muttered, absentmindedly cracking her knuckels as she stared into the corner of the room.
"Mm." Nick nodded once. "What about the baby?" He asked, as he hadn't seen it come out.
"I believe it has a tail and spontaneously combusted upon her father's touch." Noir told him summarily, letting her hands drop to her sides.

Penny clutched Mason's shirt with her tiny fingers and shut her eyes tight. Thomas set Lily down gently on a bed in the lab. He attached an IV to her arm. Immediately, the machine started beeping wildly.
"Sh**." Thomas growled, getting out a syringe and jabbing it into his own arm. Once he had gotten enough blood, he injected it onto Lily. The beeping got less frantic but was still there.

Thomas looked up, his eyes sharp from concentrating. "I don't know. It doesn't matter though; she's a mutant. Her blood is filled with toxins and poisons anyway." He muttered. He turned to Mason. "Give me your arm." He demanded, holding a clean syringe at the ready.
Mason held out his arm to Thomas holding Penny in his other arm.
"If that's the case she'll need all the blood she can get from what I can tell."he said looking at Lily

Thomas took two pints from Mason's arm and quickly put them into Lily. (I don't know how that process works) Then Thomas examined her...wound, his hands beginning to shake.
"I need to bring her into surgery. I don't know how many tears there are, but I have to stitch her up otherwise she'll bleed to death. He kept his voice calm though he was freaking out on the inside.
"I can actually help with that.When you live in Africa with less of this stuff you end up knowing a lot."He said looking at Thomas

Thomas looked at Ezra, wondering who this guy was. "Okay..." He turned to the father. "Mason, stay out here and take care of Penny. She's still a newborn, be careful with her. Ezra and I will take Lily into surgery."
Loud beeping alerted them all to Lily still lying unconscious on the bed. Thomas whipped around and wheeled Lily into an Extensive Care room, where all the surgery tools and things were. He yanked Ezra along with him and shut the door behind them.

Penelope opened her mouth and began sucking Mason's chest. When she found no breasts for milk, she pouted and looked up at Mason pitifully.
Thomas was already washing his hands in the sink. He put a mask over his mouth and snapped gloves on his hands. Throwing a white cover over Lily's body except where the tears were, Thomas gripped a needle and thread, his forehead slick with sweat already. He morphed into his true form so he wouldn't sweat. He looked at Ezra, waiting for him to start.

Penny reached up and yanked Mason's hair, pulling a strand into her mouth. Thomas nodded, hooking a blood transfuse tube into his arm and connecting the other side to Lily's arm. He watched Ezra a bit warily but he seemed to know what he was doing.

Penny chewed on his hair while staring up at him with huge, yellow, demonic eyes. Thomas sighed with relief. The whole process had taken over an hour. (That's okay, right?) "Thank you..." He trailed off, as he didn't know Ezra's name.
Outside, Penny started wailing for her mother.
"Ezra."he said answering his un-asked question(yeah)

"Penny..." The faint murmur came from the bed. Lily. Penelope swiveled her cat ears toward the lab and frantically started wiggling and pulling Mason in that direction.
Thomas went to Lily's side, his eyes concerned.
Mason rushed there and put Penny at Lily's side and he sighed relieved that she was awake

Lily put an arm around Penny, smiling tiredly. "Hey baby." She whispered, kissing her forehead. Penny gurgled happily and immediately began to feed. Lily looked up at Mason. "What happened? I blacked out and now I have stitches all over my private parts." She commented drily. Thomas backed out, figuring this was a mother to father to baby scene.
Niya sat in the corner, watching almost all of it. It would be mean to intrude so she left during the birth, from then she sat in the corner. Her eyes softened at the new blood in the base, it wasn't as up tight anymore.
