Lily had already ripped her pants off and was in the middle of a fairly painful contraction. She fought to not scream. Thomas was looking flustered and useless next to her.
"It'll be fine, it'll be over soon." He repeated to her until she slapped him. Then he stopped and moved away from the bed at a safe distance.

"Yep." Thomas shrugged, walking into the bathroom and bringing out some towels. He put a thick one under Lily and put the others on a chair next to the bed, for when the baby came out. "The only thing we can do is make her as comfortable as possible." He said, putting a pillow under her head.
"I'm giving birth, there's nothing f*cking comfortable about it." Lily snapped but accepted the pillow.

Lily just nodded, gritting her teeth as another contraction came. She squeezed Mason's hand so tight she heard a pop.

Lily looked at Boki, then at the wood. She scrunched up her nose. "Did you wash that thing?" There was an explosion of pain in her uterus and she didn't care anymore. She took the wood and bit it.
Thomas went to the foot of the bed to separate her legs. "You have to push now, Lily." He said, looking up at her.
Lily nodded rapidly and began to push.
