Noir ducked, falling back to avoid the magic. She spoke a spell that let her repel the shadows a little. Reaching forwards, she examined his smoking leg, her eyes wide. "It has to come out. I'm going to take it out, alright?" She told him, putting a hand on his chest as she spoke. She took her other hand, wand enclosed inside, and closed her eyes as she feverishly murmered a string of charms that loosened the bullet slowly. A small rain of icy blue sparks danced along his leg and dissapeared as she worked. Within moments, the silver bit had emerged and Noir grabbed it quickly. Her magic turned a deep purple and the wound closed, stitching the flesh together again. She glanced over at Nick worriedly, retracting her hands.

Nick collapsed onto the floor, his head hitting the ground with a thud. The shadows around them calmed and retracted back into him again. "Thank you." Nick whispered before he fell into unconsciousness.

Noir sucked in her bottom lip, her hands trembling with andrenaline. She hesitantly reached down and lifted his head off the ground and watched his face for a few moments, fearing that something would suddenly go very wrong; that her magic hadn't really worked at all. After finding that this didn't seem to be the case, Noir muttered a charm - having to speak it twice since her strained lips were refusing to co-operate. For the second time, Nick floated and Noir erected him in the air, supporting him with ease. Biting her lip, she hesitated. The couch was not a good idea this time, and she did not feel like intruding on his space by snooping with a navigator spell. She made a decision and took him to her own room; feeling that if anyone wanted to make a crack about it, she wouldn't hesitate. She laid him on her bed, letting the spell dissapate. Noir stood beside her bed and looked at him apprehensively, wondering what to do now. Conjuring a chair, she decided to wait for him to recover and to watch; making sure nothing would bother him.

Noir watched the shadows play, her face set and worried. She glanced at Nick and paled even further, clasping her shaking hands together to keep them still and took a deep breath.

She put her hand on his shoulder reassuringly and, with the other hand, reached down and touched the pool on the floor; causing it to dissapear. She smoothed back the hair on his forehead and felt his trembling with concern. "Nick?" She said, not expecting him to answer. "It's alright, you're ok." She told him quietly, looking at him carefully.
