Noir jumped back as the foam splattered on her. Donning an amused, vengance-lusting expression, Noir shook her can feverishly. Snapping the tab open she relased the foam which shot out like the pressurised carbon fizz it was; covering them both with an incredible amount.
Lily grit her teeth. "But I'm not supposed to be scared. I'm supposed to be the strong mutant who doesn't care about anything." She said bitterly. "But I'm so scared I don't even understand it. I'm scared for the baby, if it even survives, I'm scared for myself, if I die in childbirth or the pain that comes with it, and...I'm scared for you." Her voice breaks on the last word.

Lily wiped the tear off her cheek and looked up at Mason. She reached up and held Mason's face in her hands and rested her forehead against his, speaking with her body.
