((Well, I made it the next day. Let's just say they slept in the tree together or something.))Thomas turned and blinked in surprise. "Oh, hey Mason." He frowned and tilted his head, trying to see Lily behind Mason's back. "Lily?"
"We have something to tell you." Lily came out from behind him, wringing her hands nervously. She glanced at Mason once before looking at Thomas intently.
"I'm pregnant."
Mason was anticipating something so as a precaution he moved closer to Lily and wrapped her in a protective flame
The air seemed to still around them. Thomas got this strange look on his face, but Lily couldn't tell what it was. "And you're the father?" He asked, looking at Mason. His blue eyes had turned cold and deadly. Lily gripped Mason's hand tighter.
Mason nodded seeing Thomas he made Lily's flame protection larger.
Thomas looked down for a moment, and when he looked back up, his skin was green and his hair had turned into leaves. A huge vine appeared out of nowhere and grabbed Mason by the throat, throwing him against the wall and pinning him there. Thomas appeared in front of him, his eyes swirling madly. "I TOLD YOU TO BE CAREFUL!" He yelled.
Mason's face stayed expressionless the flames around Lily stayed in it's soft green while the flames around him hissed and turned dark red.Next thing to happen the vines around Mason's neck began to burn
"Thomas. Let him go." Lily said calmly, glaring at Thomas coldly. She wrapped a hand around his arm and dug her claws in. Thomas gasped as sudden poison started to pass through his veins. Involuntarily, the vines disintegrated into dust and Thomas dropped onto his knees, clutching his bleeding arm. Lily quickly kissed the wound to make the poison stop. "Don't blame Mason for this, Tommy. This is my baby, and you have no word against me having it." She told him, her eyes blank.
Mason reverted back to his green flame and stood next to Lily his neck showing purple bruises.He stayed expressionless showing no sign of pain
Without saying a word, Lily's hand slinked up to Mason's neck. A blue glow emanated from her fingertips and healed the purple bruises. Thomas stood up slowly, his eyes no longer angry but sad and worried.
Mason stared at Thomas not saying a word

Lily grinned back. "Thanks." She said. Thomas stared back at Mason before turning to Lily. "I just...I don't want you to get hurt. With all the changes you've been through...what if you die in childbirth?"
"Then I'll die." Lily said in a flat tone. "What happens, happens, I can't change that." She took Mason's hand and squeezed it.

Mason squeezed it back looking away.His flames flickered as if they were going to go out
Thomas looked at Mason in a knowing way. "You're scared she might die, aren't you?" He said quietly. Lily growled at him but he ignored her, continuing to stare at Mason.
In an instant Mason's flame changed to black just as they had when he brought up the murderers he had committed.Still Mason said nothing his face hidden in the darkness of the flames.
Lily was looking at Mason with a new expression. "It's true? You're worried the baby is going to kill me?" Her hand went to her stomach instinctively. Thomas saw the motion and looked pained.
Flamed reached out and swirled creating what sounded like whispering.One reached out and passed Lily's ear whispering something that sounded like,"Only he survived."
Lily frowned. "That wasn't your fault, Mason. It was an accident." She insisted, moving forward and touching his arm gently.
One after another a flame passed Lily's ear whispering the same thing it was until Mason reached out shooed them away when the flames being to brighten
Thomas saw this as a close moment and he walked out of the room silently, taking Boki with him.Lily didn't notice, she only had eyes for Mason. "Mason?" She whispered.
"Yes?"he said looking blank as if that never happened
"Nothing. Just wondering if you were okay." She said, wrapping her arms around his torso in a hug.
He hugged her,"Yeah just silly flames..they have a mind of their own you know."He said
Lily nodded, but she was still thinking about what Thomas had said and how Mason had reacted.((brb))

Lily pulled away and smiled at him warily. "You okay?"
Lily's eyes flickered away. "Your flames went black for a while."
"Oh."Mason said understanding
Lily looked at him again. She leaned in and kissed his cheek, holding it there for a few second.
Mason smiled and hugged her.
Lily giggled, hugging him back. "You're a very huggy kind of guy, you know?"
Mason laughed,"Most people would say evil and murderous but I'll accept huggy."
"You're not murderous." Lily's eyes widened. "You're the sweetest guy I know." She grinned.
Mason hugged her again,"That's sweet but I guess the whole almost 2000 people dead due to a boy on fire really masks that statement but I'll be happy to take it."he smiled

"Hey, don't squish the baby!" Lily protests, smiling as she nudges him away playfully.
Mason laughed,"Sorry."he said letting her go
"'Tis okay." Lily giggled. She yawned, rubbing her eyes. "I'm gonna take a nap, Masy." She says, looking tired.
"Alright."Mason picked up Lily and smiled,"But I won't let you walk."he said turning heading to Lily's room
"What!" Lily squealed, wrapping her arms around his neck. She erupted into insane giggles. "You're crazy!"
Mason laughed,"That's what they all say." he walked into Lily's room and set her down on her bed."I'll be in my room which is across the hall call if you need me."He said kissing her head
"Okay." She said, before wrinkling her nose. "And I know where your room is." She winked, pushing him out of the room.
Mason laughed and closed the door behind him walking into his room and grabbing and unaltered piece of glass and sitting at his metal desk drawing out a small design for it
Lily lay back on her bed, fully clothed, and closed her eyes. She fell asleep immediately. Sharp needles. Blood. Black suited scientists. Hospital. Gurney. Pain. Screaming. More blood. A baby crying.
Lily jolted awake in a cold sweat, breathing hard. Her hand went to her stomach protectively. She sighed with relief and sat up, brushing hair out of her face.

Mason finished his little dragon and sat letting the room cool down
