Ema (emastimpy) | 99 comments I want to combine

with
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/77...

Searching by ISBN of this book, Worldcat shows this book, which confuses me a bit (title is a single word):
http://www.worldcat.org/title/shunkin...

But for A portrait of Shunkin, it says "other title" is Shunkin shō
http://www.worldcat.org/title/portrai...

So, should I combine them?

lafon حمزة نوفل (lafon) | 3544 comments Yeah, those two should be combined. The one is the Spanish edition of the first.
ETA: Anyone know what the publish date for the Japanese edition is? I find the year 65535 to be highly unlikely (that or 32767. Take your pick).

Ema (emastimpy) | 99 comments Thank you, lafon! Speaking about strange year of publication, I was just looking amazed at this book, Junʼichirō Rabirinsu, with "65535" instead of the year!

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/29...

On the combine page of Jun'ichirō Tanizaki, there are several books with the same title and wrong year of publication...
I looked on Worldcat and this book has a huuuge number of isbns, wow, how could that be?

http://www.worldcat.org/title/junichi...

And for isbn 9784122034051, there is also another book on Worldcat, presumably from the same series Jun'ichirō rabirinsu/Chūkō bunko:
http://www.worldcat.org/title/kami-to...

Hmm, so it might be a series...

And why does the title show so small on the combine editions page, compared to the other titles?

Ema (emastimpy) | 99 comments There might be a different Font or something, because I forgot to mention that, previously, I've merged two author profiles for Jun'ichirō Tanizaki. The only difference between the names was the apostrophe ' , that came with a different font and thus created a different profile. They may be all imports from Worldcat.
All the "Junʼichirō Rabirinsu" books came from that profile.

lafon حمزة نوفل (lafon) | 3544 comments I'm not at all familiar with this author, so I'm only going by what I can find online. First it is entirely possible for books to be published with many different ISBNs (probably the only thing is that WorldCat's data didn't show any publish dates for those ISBNs so rather than create a new listing it lumped them all together).

Huh, I'm not sure why the font is smaller.
