Oh, I see. I haven't actually seen it yet so I didn't know. Thanks willa! I will check it out.willaful wrote: "I think 163 is an overstatement, it's a novella. My ebook of it is 113 pages, plus a lot of extra excerpts from other books."
Sure, CaroB. I will probably get to it today. If it's more a novella, then I'll let you know.
CaroB wrote: "if it does end up being more of a novella with a whole bunch of excerpts, as willaful says, can you let me know (in case I get asked again in future) and swap books please? "
I'm wondering if I can count
. The author is very religious and often views events as divine intervention.
I think so. Here's one I've come across: "Sam said he felt as if he's just been Tasered, but in a good way -- a God shot. He thought, Are these guys my Eskimo? (referring to a previous story about God sending someone in need an Eskimo.) Sam looked inward and wondered whether these guys had anything to do with his prayer for a cougar five minutes before, whether God had gotten His signals crossed, but he decided to trust his gut that this is what God had sent in place of that."
I'm thinking of reading
. The Mad Hatter wears a hat on the cover. This version has both Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. Wonderland doesn't have enough pages but the whole book with both stories is over 200pages. Would this count?

FYI: Due to special circumstances for one of the players on team 6, the rest of the team have agreed to alternate reading an extra book until the end of week 5. If we've not heard from Laura by then, I will find a new player to join that team from the beginning of week 6. I've inserted a note in the spreadsheet to reflect these changes.
hmmm. sorry ladies... *trying to think*Anything about renewal in that?
Otherwise, check out the lyrics and see if there's anyway you can link it from those?
According to these lyrics....Didn't know how lost I was
Until I found you
I was beat incomplete
Id been had, I was sad and blue
But you made me feel
Yeah, you made me feel
Shiny and new
Wouldn't they apply to Reflected in You? Both Gideon and Eva were lost till they found each other and from what we got of Gideon's background in the first book, he didn't really do relationships until Eva came along and made him feel. Or am I stretching it? LOL
Susan, from the GR synopsis: "...My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful... except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity. I think that links with the above lyrics, so yes, I'll take that.
Ha ha ha Susan, I thought the same thing. I never look at the lyrics but was really trying to fit this one in. I have one other option but waiting to find out if he's a virgin coz I can't remember if it was mentioned in the earlier books.

It's almost time for a new song. Mr. R, could you make it where a time travel book would fit, or
would fit? That's what I need to read for Bingo and the Hearts and Tears Game LOL
LOL I'm up for anything. My TBR pile is almost overflowing. But I would like to read
since I got a copy from netgalley and haven't read it yet.
no no I need vampires!! I need to read:
for bookshelf bingo's vampire shelf and the Hearts & Tears game for a 400+ page book.
Heh, we all need paranormal reads. I have a parnormal challenge for October and I haven't read one book for it. Just not in the mood.
ha ha ha I'm already reading my bingo book but I need one for Hearts & Tears so hoping I can use one book.Mary you might wish you didn't read that book :-)
I though I'm past this stage , but I'm still in that mood that no book appeals to me. so whatever the song is and whatever book I chose for it I'll probably won't like it.Humppp
I know what you mean Shosho. I'm meant to be reading a book but i've already read 2 in between and have just started another one.

I'm doing genre switches. Read a general fiction book and am now reading nonfiction. Sick unto death of romance.

As for everyone else, you cheeky whatsits, trying to put in requests from Mr Randomizer... I'll tell you what I tell my three kids: YOU GET WHAT YOU GET AND YOU DON'T GET UPSET. *sticks out tongue* so nuh :-D
