Woot woot! He's pretty ripped!
As some of you have already noticed, this Wednesday will be the last song called for this challenge. The first team to have all 8 dancers groovified will win our first ever Dance Party comp! Good luck everyone....
but then why is each week separate? it should all be added together....there should not be 1st, 2nd, etc each week separately. if it's true race...all the weeks should be inclusive.... but then it's not my game..
Yeah. Each team would get different points for coming in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd each week... whoever gets the most points at the end would win. Hmmmm...
I had the same thought as Catherine -- assuming all teams finish the previous weeks, the way it's currently set up makes the final week pretty much determine the outcome.
Could be interesting. I mean one team could get 3 points for coming in 1st, another 2 points for coming in 2nd, and the third place gets 1 point. Then you could have some close calls between teams. I wonder what to do if there was a tie in any of the places?...have a "sudden death" play-off?
Good timing! I've just set up a

topic, if you want to leave some thoughts there, I'd appreciate it!
A point system would be good. Seems kind of a let down to have it come down to just whoever gets the last song first. I mean it kind of comes down to that in Bingo but the teams in the running for the win are a surprise because it all depends on what shelf the randomizer calls. Whereas here we all are pretty much at the same spot.
That's true, Mary. I'll be making some tweaks and changes before setting up the next round so that it works out much fairer.
So I really wanted to go to see the 1931 film classics Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein on the big screen tomorrow. But it's the last song! What to do! I hope it's slow at work tomorrow and that I have a short Kindle book that fits the last song.
Haha , I got tomorrow off not because of the last song but because I finished one huge project today and I told my boss that after working MAO for the last months I deserve a day off , and he said absolutely !So I'm going to stay in bed and read. Please please please Mrs DJ can we have the song earlier ?
As this is the last song of the first round of our Dance Party, I want to say a big THANKS to everyone for taking part. I know there have been some misgivings about how fair this is when it all comes down to the last week, but I appreciate everyone bearing with us while we've muddled along with our first team game. I really, really hope you've all enjoyed yourselves in the playing...And last but not least, I'd like to thank my groovy co-mods for helping out behind the scenes and just being generally awesome and funky and letting me use them as sounding boards for this idea.

May the last week of reading begin!!
Susan has just raised a good point about the link of full sun on the cover for this week. I've amended the playlist to also include a Full Moon, but what I'm looking for is a complete outline of the circle... there may be writing in the middle of it, but as long as we can see the full outline clearly, I'll take it. Sorry to be a Pain.
Week 8: ♩♩ "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" - Cyndi Lauper (1983)I'm going to read

Song link: full moon on cover
Can I use this:
there's a moon in the background that looks full size to me.or
it's small but there is a complete moon there.
Mary, I'm sorry, no. I want to be able to see the whole outline. Even though in that cover we can infer that the moon is full, I can't see the whole thing. Sorry :-(
What do we do with books that have no page count listed on here? I was thinking of reading
but it shows as 0 pages on here. I just opened up the copy I have on my computer with adobe digital editions and it shows 217 pages.
Nevermind. I found a Virginia Henley freebie that I downloaded that was originally published in 1985.

Thanks everyone!!! This was a lot of fun not only with my own team members but with all the other team members too!!! I enjoyed seeing what everyone was reading for the songs and reading all the reviews. Awesome job to all teams.....I think we are all "WINNERS"
