What happened to one word for the phrase? What happened to Arpit? Did he roll his eyes and say, "Enough of this!" already? (We have that effect on people.)

I was referring to question (Sandra's) about BunWat's symbol for "om" in post #34. I thought that "om" was the Buddhist chant, but I guess I'm wrong and started a tempest (I feel so... Shakespearean!).

As for changes in your post, Richard, that's one for Sherlock Holmes! Hosts have no power to edit others' posts. They DO have powers to delete others' posts, however, something I would never do unless the poster broke the rules of discussion by, say, attacking another poster or plagiarizing another's words (etc.).

Does that settle THAT or just add to the fire? Om... not sure.

(Oh. And Richard, I'm happy to use you as my local Buddhist expert when the occasion rises! Thanks for the offer.)

And hope that she will be your wife
For I've been warned and I've decided
To sleep alone all of my life."

I've always preferred skedaddling. Like the defeated Union Troops did after the 1st and 2nd Battles at Manassas

Kate (kateksh) | 144 comments Fun thread, everyone; wanna resume? I'll try to recover from the SLAM that lawyers make the simple complicated. How about relaxing productively? You're in the zone, chillin' out but getting things done at the same time . . .
