Once you turn the first page of Mr.Salisbury's 900 Days--you are hooked....one of the most descriptive books on the Lenningrad siege---good choice,, one of my top favourites.

Christie | 336 comments Well I guess I'm moving "900 Days" up in the queue. Now I am anxious to get started. Will let you know my thoughts when I'm done Wade.

Wade, you are absolutely correct in your assessment. I started reading "900 Days" last night and am captivated by the story and the author's writing style. Will let you know my thoughts when I'm done. Found it very interesting that the book had never been published in Russia at the time of the printing of the edition I'm reading- 1985. I wonder if that is still the case?
