I have read most of the serries up to the Spooks Blood. It was an amazing adventure. really love the setting and the characters. Can't wait for the next one.
I love these books! They are so creepy, but awesome at the same time. I haven't read all of them though, so I need to.
I'm on eleven this series is awesome
Joseph Delaney came to our school to talk- I love his books! The latest book is Spook's Alice (in the UK, I'm not sure what it is in the US and other places) and it is the twelfth book. It is the second to last book so the 13th will be the last. There is also a collection of three short witch stories that he didn't want to write and a bestiary which basically lists all of the mythical creatures tom encounters with illustrations. There's also a film coming out called out called the seventh son. I am not so sure about that though because the man playing Tom is about 28.
Also the 12th book is out right now. Or, again, at least in the UK because they were selling it when he came to our school.
I reading book eleven slooooowly, because its to far away for 12, then book 13 is tooooo far away also, so I have to read a little at a time.
I wish I could have met the author.
I started reading this series last month, fell in love to it and I could not stop reading it since then, Finished the 6th book today looking forward to the 7th. Overall I think this is a great series
LOVE this. I actually need to re-read and then get caught up. I think I'm about 3 books behind. I got my daughter to read it and she totally loves it as well. I wish more people would read it.
Just read 1. Really loved it, but cant find remaining parts. How much parts does this series has anyway?
Kinza wrote: "Just read 1. Really loved it, but cant find remaining parts. How much parts does this series has anyway?"In total, there are 13 main books. There are at least three other books that have short stories of the characters and such, but you don't need to read them to really know what is going on in the main story. However, if you really like the books, I recommend them.
I know in America and the UK, all the books are out, except for number 13 in America, which comes out in April. Have you tried your local library to see if they have any of the books?

Sadly, its not for the books. Its 'inspired' by the 'idea' of the books. Its not the exact story.

I know. I just wish they would have went with the book's story, instead of doing their "inspired" stuff.
I love the series, and have had the same experience where no one I know has ever heard of it, which is a shame. There are aspects about the final instalment which I am not a great lover of, however the rest of the series is excellent, (especially the fourth book in my opinion), and a lot of the problems with the ending will most likely be fixed in the new Starblade trilogy.
