Thomas and Teresa would have been great if they ended up together, but it added to the whole point of the book that they didn't. It helped show what having all that done to you really does. How it changes you forever. I liked that.
Brenda just... I wish she never existed. I didn't like her. I may not have liked her because I had an old class pet who was a lizard named Brenda, and I pictured Brenda as a forty-year-old with lizard-like features. I dunno. I just didn't like her.
