If I wrote one I'd throw in millions of Star Trek and Sherlock references.

Just a Girl Fighting Censorship (justagirlfightingcensorship) I would write about the great chicago fire, no one knows what really caused it maybe it was the only way the Doctor could save us....

There was a Jon Pertwee episode with Atlantis I believe, the companion was Jo Grant I think. I'd have to look up the episode, it was one with the Master.

I saw a few episodes with Jo in them. I liked her. That wasn't one of them, unfortunately.

Violet | 1 comments A cool episode idea would be the doctor traveling through books and saving the characters

That's a good one. Maybe he could visit the library planet and the TARDIS could malfunction. That's an explanation.

Pamela Su (thebluebaroness) | 142 comments I'd like an episode where The Doctor and companion(s) land in a beautiful plant world where the plants are sentient beings with an established hierarchical culture.

And a world that may or may not be carnivorous in nature. :D

There was a 2nd Doctor episode like that "The Mind Robber". Except it is more he has to keep from becoming the permanent storyteller.

Oooh. That sounds cool. I really need to get to watching more Classics. Still halfway through the 1st Doctor episodes. Been catching up with Torchwood and reading books and playing games.

Too many interests, not enough time in the day!

Don't think so. I think it would be interesting, Robin could mistake the Doctor for Prince John

Although Patrick Troughton (Doctor 2) did play Robin Hood back in the early 1950s.

Felipe Atiles | 6 comments Well here goes nothing. Its a journal entry I wrote about.....literally not long ago. Long story short I've had a pretty rough weekend and I just decided to let some thoughts out in my journal and I shared it with her amd she said it sounded like a DW episode. Ill write it word for word amd post it. Comments on it are welcome. Criticism is welcome as long as it's constructive. -takes deep breathe- okay here goes nothing.

"Well. This is life. You get fucked over by some people...and the fingers point at you. Or physical violations hit home...and you lose all control. We are all monsters. The monsters we feared as kids..little kids....I guess they're really in our head. They were ugly. Loud. Small or big. They manifested from within us. They became us. They were right next to us. I'm the monster I feared. So why can't I just control it. Why can't I keep my body. Why can't I just save my heart and soul. It can have my body....just leave my heart and soul. That's mine. It....they're mine. I guess one night the monster just takes over from inside a dream. It leaves the kid version of us in a dream. Stuck. Cold. Alone. Silent. Lost. Maybe its time to send a search party for that kid. I know my name is felipe....but what's his. Will he recognize me....or will he only see the monster. Whatever he sees, I hope he can fight to lock it back up. I'm at a dead end and I need his help.

12:06AM aug 12 monday 2013."

I also told her that if given an ultimatum between walking through my childhood or walking through Freddy Krueger (which ill have you know I'm terrified of Freddy. I call it a phoebia.) I'd rather walk through Freddy. After some time I'd man up to him amd walk through him. My childhood is different. I wouldn't be able to walk through that time period w/o crying or feeling anguish for what that naive little boy (me) will go through/put himself through in the years to come.

Hope my fellow whovians like it. Comments are welcome. Please excuse the typos.

Sounds like it could be made into either be some kind of parasitic alien or a psychological doppelganger. The latter would be more fun. In their natural form the doppelganger aliens would be featureless sort of like blank Autons, or like the "ganger" clones in the "The Rebel Flesh/The Almost People". They would have some kind of device or would have to connect somehow with the host to develop the hosts physical traits. Like in "The Last Starfighter" movie where the clone adapts the main kid's form, I think there was some kind of device the kid touched. (been ages since I've seen that one). Maybe they would kidnap the hosts in order to hook them up to some machine that transferred their physical patterns to the doppelgangers. At some point the Doctor becomes involved and at first he thinks it is the "ganger" clones again, but they aren't quite the same. He soon rules out the Autons and any other similar aliens he might have dealt with before.

The story would have one main kid a teenager who they start the process on and the Doctor saves from whatever the ultimate doom is for those who have been copied.

message 183: by Felipe (new)

Felipe Atiles | 6 comments that's a great one. I just imagined it all in my head. so would suspect zero (first host to be kidnapped) still be a little boy or would he be aged and old and decrepit? obviously he wouldn't be able to die since he's connected.......unless its like the library episode where the people get saved into a robotic system. the one with the darkness and the shadows.

this would be a very sad episode. either the kid stays young the whole time and when he returms to earth he's comoletely confused since he'd be so far ahead of his time, or he'd be really old and aged and just wish he could be at peace. or what if it was a whole new villain. like they were children of the silence only when you look at them you forget and there's a clone of you walking around but deep down the silence children just want a home of their own. then the doctor figures out a way to talk the leader into going to a new planet or something. or maybe this whoooooooole thing can be a dalek thing. the daleks realize the way to really hirt the doctor isn't to hurt him or the ones he loves but the children. turn the children into daleks (like souflet [sp] girl) and let the children daleks keep all emotions. love. hate anger etc. but its to slowly replace the human race with a dalek army that the doctor will be too......confused about killing? the kids would still be alive but once again some will be aged or theu can all be the same age they were but the whole process puts a toll on them physically. the doctor figures he can't kill the kids but shut the experiment down or put them to sleep. eternally. they'd die but no one calls it killing them. very sad episode. people would cry all over the place.

message 185: by Ella (new)

Ella | 678 comments I would want to write an episode where doctors nine through twelve would meet their daughter. Does that seem weird?

message 186: by Felipe (new)

Felipe Atiles | 6 comments not at all. that seems like it'd be interesting actually

message 187: by Ella (new)

Ella | 678 comments It would go something like this:

The twelfth Doctor and Clara are just flying around in the TARDIS looking for an adventure. Suddenly, the TARDIS starts acting weird and seems to crash into younger versions of itself. First the ninth Doctor comes out of his TARDIS with Rose (this is after The Doctor Dances.) Then the tenth doctor comes in with Martha and Donna (this is after The Doctor's Daughter.) Then eleven, Rory, and Amy come out of their TARDIS (this is after Amy's Choice.) So everyone is there and no one has a clue as to what is going on. The TARDIS seems to be controlled by an outside force and all of the Doctors can't do anything about it. When they land, they are on Gallifrey.

The Doctors recognize where they are and they get everyone inside to try to get away but the TARDIS doesn't seem to want to cooperate. The companions get curious and the Doctors don't seem to want to explain what is going on so they go out to explore. The Doctors, of course, follow. There they meet a little girl who points out the trouble that is going on. The Doctors go to investigate and it turns out they are having a little Dalek problem. All of the Doctors easily resolve the solution but right after that, they meet the Doctor's first wife.

The Doctor's wife doesn't recognize them. The companions notice she seems troubled and she reveals that she can't find her daughter. The companions promise to help (the Doctors are in shock because they remember that their first child was a son not a daughter) but while they're looking they get back to the TARDIS and it's working again. They take off but only after they find a stow-away; the little girl who pointed them to the Daleks.

The little girl reveals herself as the Doctor's first daughter. She explains that her mother was afraid of having her because she was supposed to kill her father. She turned out to be a good girl, but her mother still kept her away from the Doctor. She wanted to meet him so she brought his TARDIS to her. She stays with the Doctor and his companions for a bit but grows more and more distance. When the Doctors and the companions are completely off-guard, the daughter aims to kill them.

It turns out a Gallifreyan Lord didn't like the Doctor running away so they used his own daughter to "bring him to justice." They knew the Doctor wouldn't do anything to his own blood. The daughter was trained to hate the Doctor and kill him at all costs. But she can't bring herself to do it. The poison that she is supposed to use to kill the Doctor only poisons Time Lords/Ladies and it will only work once. She is aiming for the ninth Doctor because without him, the others would never have been there. Nine, however, was the one she grew most attached to. So, to save the Doctors, she injects the poison into herself. She dies saying "I'm glad I got to meet you, Daddy." The Doctors, ten especially, are devastated. To try to make them feel better, Donna says "You must have been a great dad, Doctor. None of your daughters can bare to see you hurt."

The episode ends with the twelfth doctor making all of the previous Doctors and companions forget what happened and he sends all of them back to where they are supposed to be. He is the only one that will remember what just happened and he will have Clara by his side all the time.

Aw, I like it! It would be interesting too, cause is the Doctor supposed to NOT come in contact with himself or see himself? Yes, I heard the end, but what would 9, 10, and 11 think? I'm not sure the'd be accepting of it right away...They might freak out and think it's some sort of...prank? I do like it though. :3

message 191: by cαяяιє (new)

cαяяιє | 401 comments That was fantastic, in the words of the 9th doctor. Well thought out, and I like how you had 3 doctors together, with their companions. I would love to see 9 and 10 again.

message 198: by Ella (new)

Ella | 678 comments Thanks! That means a lot.

message 199: by [deleted user] (new)

Kind of. I just need more characters. But it has to do with shadows. They take another form (usually a horse (black) with more of a lizard mouth and teeth), and devour people. Each time getting a little bigger until they devour the planet. Well, that's what they WANT to do. But yeah, they can travel through other shadows and that's the only time they're unseen. Otherwise they take the form of something, sometimes, if strong enough, they can become 3D.

That's about as much as I've got so far, but I dunno. Oh, and they would be destroyed by light, of course. But it has to be a lot of light at once.

message 200: by Ella (new)

Ella | 678 comments That sounds so cool. It really does. With the description you gave, it could go so many different ways. I like it :D
