Ooh.................I'm intrigued...........

Has the Doctor ever been to the Amazon Rainforest? That'd be a great setting due to all the leafy foliage, exoctic animals and/or aliens, and unknown, unexplored reaches!

Janeen-san (misswannareadalot) | 1507 comments Yeah!! Not to mention PIRANHAS!!!!!!

I don't think in screen, although there have been some jungle-like planets he's been to with similar or worse conditions. There might be a novel or two but I'm not sure.

Finley Mac | 482 comments Why not a submarine?

Also, I still think they should bring back the gas-masked zombies, even though it would have to have a really weird plot.

message 56: by Janeen-san (new)

Janeen-san (misswannareadalot) | 1507 comments Yeah. Even though they still terrify me, it certainly would be interesting if they did return, even though its impossible :(

message 57: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) I dunno. I would only want something to return if it can be done in a terrifying, meaningful, or heartbreaking way. I wouldn't want the Moff to bring back the gas mask children just for fan service. I want to make different and even scarier monsters, not bring back old ones in a really weird way. I want the Rani to come back, though! That would be so neat. ^_^ After all, the Doctor wasn't the only renegade Time Lord. Surely others survived the Time War besides him and the Master.

message 58: by Janeen-san (new)

Janeen-san (misswannareadalot) | 1507 comments I agree. The Empty Child/his descendants could only come back if it made sense! When the Weeping Angles came back in the fall finale of this current season, it didn't explain it.

message 59: by [deleted user] (new)

What if a nanogene for the Empty Child went dormant and then an excavating team digs it up accidentally in Egypt and infects the excavation team inside a pyramid so that the Doctor has to chase them/be chased inside a pyramid with all those trap doors and hidden rooms and danger!!! That would be epic.

message 60: by Janeen-san (new)

Janeen-san (misswannareadalot) | 1507 comments ...in Egypt??

message 61: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) An Ancient Egyptian episode would be pretty nifty. :)

I agree. Actually I prefer mystery type stories centered around the Shpinx over Pyramids but they can be cool too. Through the years there has been some legends about the Shpinx having some kind of secret caves or rooms, recent technology has detected some kind of anomalies that "could" be some sort of underground cavern or small room/space.

message 63: by Janeen-san (new)

Janeen-san (misswannareadalot) | 1507 comments That would be cool to have in an episode!

message 64: by Axela (new)

Axela | 415 comments LOL Imagine you see a bunch of people opening it, and everyone is freaking out cuz they hear something inside and they're all like "WHAT THE HELL?!" and then the doctor pokes his head out, "Ah--Hello, I'm the Doctor..."

LOLOLOL
That was sort of in an audiobook but it was freaking hilarious and I want to see it in an episode SO badly.

message 65: by Andibeth chase (new)

Andibeth chase (AndibethChase) has anyone noticed that the scream ( that painting by that artist dude) looks an aweul lot like the silence?
i would so write an episode about that.

message 66: by Andibeth chase (new)

Andibeth chase (AndibethChase) i mean awful

message 67: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) Steven Moffat based the Silence off of that painting! It would be pretty neat if there was an episode based off of that painting.

Axela | 415 comments I would write an episode where the Doctor's Dimensional Stabilizer acts up and he and the TARDIS end up in an alternate universe... On Gallifrey. I'm still not sure whether he would have a double heart attack or not. :P

I also don't know which I would do: Kill the audience with a young Doctor and Master (less than 8) playing in the background and coming up to meet Eleven(which could happen at the end of the show as a whole and we could overhear Yeishi using the Doctor's real name), or make everyone happy with a Ten and Eleven meet-up where the Time War didn't happen. Or maybe there could be no alternate Doctor at all (and seeing as the Doctor made the move that started the Time War that wouldn't have happened either) and he has a kind of vacation episode full of feels. OR maybe when they eventually have to end Doctor Who that is where the Doctor can go and stay.

I just want the Doctor to see Gallifrey. One more time.

I like that idea! It makes me sad and happy at the same time!

CaptKirk42 Classic Whovian (klandersen) | 1146 comments Mod
Sounds interesting. Don't make things too complicated it will be harder to makes things come out right if it is too confusing.

message 71: by Axela (new)

Axela | 415 comments Sad and happy at the same time. Sounds like Moffat, eh?

And I'm just kicking around ideas. Not really trying anything TOO hard to explain. It's just difficult to explain ALL IN ONE SENTENCE.

Emily (lafillebrigitte) | 1085 comments In my opinion the finales should be simpler than they are. How am I supposed to advertise the show to a friend when I still don't understand it myself!

message 74: by [deleted user] (new)

I like them that way!
:D

message 75: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) | 1085 comments I prefer the old finales, but the new ones aren't too bad either..you know how it is

Nah, showing us what Gallifrey looked like would spoil it!

message 77: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) | 1085 comments But we've seen it before, just watch the classic series

message 78: by Arwen (new)

Arwen if i was to do a Doctor Who i would have the doctor meet sherlock or some book character! or maybe he could have a child that is smarter than him. . . . . .

message 79: by Axela (new)

Axela | 415 comments IN THE SNOWMEN THE DOCTOR PRETENDS TO BE SHERLOCK HOLMES AND IT'S FREAKING HILARIOUS CUZ HE'S SO BAD AT IT

message 80: by Arwen (new)

Arwen waa don't spoil it!!! i havn't watched it yet D:

message 81: by Axela (new)

Axela | 415 comments SORRY I'm so sorry I watched it at 3 and it's amazing and I fangirled to death!

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) (view spoiler)

message 83: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) | 1085 comments I don't care for it as much... I mean, he's married!

message 84: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) In my opinion, that wasn't a real marriage, just like the Doctor and Marilyn Monroe. Besides, that didn't stop River from flirting in Silence in the Library, did it?

message 85: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) | 1085 comments Who was she flirting with in that episode again?

message 86: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) When River asked that guy to put on his helmet, he asked why. She said "I don't fancy you." That was implying that she fancied everyone in the room, females included, but not him.

message 87: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) | 1085 comments Oh...guess I didn't even pick up on that! Her behavior still seems improper to me. His is fine

If you must Spoiler there is the specific threads for each episode (at least for season 7 right now) to do that in.

message 90: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) We shall do that! I'll go back and put a spoiler tag on my comments. :)

message 91: by Tess Mortell (new)

Tess Mortell 'The 2020 Doctor's Companion (tessimortell) | 7 comments *To understand this better watch The Snowmen episode

Remember way back when David Tennant was the Doctor and he had a daughter. She should come back for a Matt Smith episode and have him forget who she is but she knows and then he freaks out when he finds out and then they find Clara and she remembers and then she gets really jealous because she really wants to see the stars and thinks the daughter will instead and then the doctor has to say goodbye to his daughter but in other episode at the worse times she comes back and then she has her own spin-off series.
Sorry about that I tend to babble on and on. My favorite word is and.

message 92: by [deleted user] (new)

I think Jenny is Clara. If you look closely, they're sitting in the same space chair in "The Doctor's Daughter" and in "Asylum of the Daleks". Jenny is part Time Lord which would explain her changing her looks. She did regenerate in "The Doctor's Daughter" but she stayed the same, you might argue, but maybe being turned into a Dalek is what triggered the massive change in appearance. It would also explain her dying and coming back.

message 93: by Jadyn (new)

Jadyn (fldsmdfr) I my gosh! I would die if a could write a Doctor Who episode!

But then that would mean that Jenny/Clara kissed her dad! Euh! I do not want incest in a family show! I hope Clara is her own unique character.

message 95: by [deleted user] (new)

Who knows, this IS Moffat we're talking about...

message 96: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) It is, indeed. :) And knowing Moffat, I don't think he's going to go back to a character that was only introduced once and not by him. I also think that Georgia Moffet would fight very hard to play Jenny again if they bring her back again!

Lol I didn't even notice that. It sure would be interesting if Clara was Jenny, but I don't think so...I mean, there's three of her...

message 98: by Axela (new)

Axela | 415 comments I HAVE AN IDEA THAT I STOLE FROM A DOCTOR WHO CRUISE!!!

What if, just what if, we all choose a canon character or make and OC and we all decide on a plot and a setting and a mystery t solve and how it's solved, and then we all ROLEPLAY IT OUT!!! If we all write in 3rd person, we could string all the posts together in a logical order and use it as a rough draft for a novel or something! Edit it, fix it up, make sure we're happy with it, see if we can get it endorsed by the BBC!!! HOW AMAZING WOULD THAT BE?!?!?

message 99: by JessTheMess (new)

JessTheMess | 7 comments Okay the doctor teams up with the daleks and fights the weeping angels

message 100: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) | 1085 comments That's not exactly a mystery, but we could call it a "missing persons" case or something
