It was ok. LOVED The Postcard Killers. Put me in touch with Liza Marklund and read two of her books on my Kindle: Red Wolf and Last Will (in that order). She turns out to be the 2nd best Swedish mystery writer following The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo author,,,,,,Steig..??
Is it me or did it fell like a similar character in the alex cross series. I still can't wait for the next one.
I'm definitely looking forward to the next book, if nothing else to find out where the story takes Bennett and family.
Who wrote this? I know who's name is on the cover, but I don't believe Patterson wrote it. The Michael Bennett in this book isn't the same character as in the previous books. The whole book was off. This is one I hate to admit I even read.
Loved this one, especially after the disappointment of the last book, I, Michael Bennet was more back on the normal track of James Patterson. I agree with Teresa, want to find out what happens with the Bennett family.
Interesting debate here, personally I liked it. But, nothing is as good as the first in this series Step on a Crack. I have never been grabbed by the throat in less than 5 pages as I was in that book. But with that said, everything else is a nice comfortable 4.25 stars. The personal thread of this story is one of the reasons I keep coming back, the thriller portion is always well written and never disappointing. But I find myself groaning over Mike's personal misteps to the point where I want to shake him and yell, "Make up your mind buddy". But, I understand the writer's crutch of keeping us on tenderhooks.... so I overlook it, but the sighs and groans can't be helped.
Defintiely looking forward to what I'll call PART II of this story line.
I totally agree.. But with it being a James Patterson, the antagonist will make his appearance later in the series. Although I hope that is not the case.
I agree that the ending of this book is really dissapointing. But it is true James Patterson style. In the Alex Cross series there are a few books that had you asking what the heck is going to happen. I am sure when the next Michael Bennett book comes out all of our questions will be answered, for the most part.

I, Michael Bennett --- New Book "Gone" book 6 of the series is due to be released September 2013, description available on GoodReads. CAN'T wait considering how many loose ends were left open from I, Michael Bennett.

Thank goodness! I've been waiting on pins and needles since last summer for the next book. I flipped through all of the empty pages looking for more. I loved this book and love this series. It's hard to pick a favorite Patterson character, but this is definitely up there for me.

Sue,
Are you sure the title of the next book in the MB series is called "Gone"? I went to James Patterson's official website and I didn't see mention of it anywhere...
It's on fantastic fiction & on good reads, so if those sites are incorrect I am as well. I did go to Patterson's website & Facebook page and didn't find it there either. But I have found in past on those sites that advance info greater than a few months never is posted, why? Haven't a clue

I absolutely love this book series... I can't wait to read Gone and I can't wait for the books to come! Just so darn good... in my opinion, of course.
