Submission problems?

I've been working on the Alice essay, but when I go to submit I get a message saying that I'm about to submit a partially completed assignment. I've written 314 words, so length shouldn't be a problem.
Am I missing something really obvious, or is it just a computer glitch? Any help would be appreciated :)

You're missing something - but as ever, it's not obvious because they haven't bothered to tell us about it. I figured it it out and then dug through the forum for confirmation - under the essay box there's a new "citations" box which you now *must* complete even if all you've used is the recommended text. That's why it fails because they've made that box mandatory (personally I think that's daft and if you don't make a citation it should be assumed you've used the recommended text, but there you go).

Apparently people complained that if they made citations in the first essay it ate their word count up, so now you have the 320-word box for your essay and a 100-word box underneath for references.

They may have changed this, because I didn't have to use the citation box to submit mine.

Possibly! I don't see that on the various complainy forum threads but perhaps if you submitted nearer the deadline they'd fixed it by then. I submit mine at about 9am BST since I'm usually out at the kids' swimming lessons all afternoon; the final deadline here is 5pm. Or I suppose it could be a browser issue, it keeps whinging that mine is out of date!

Mine did not get accepted either. I posted it about 2 hours before it was due. IT said partial, like with sara's.

I think mine was accepted because I was assigned four essays to critique/grade, even though I didn't list the citations.
