Nikki, thank you for your opinion, but that does not make my opinion any less true.

If you only write for yourself, then the only person you have to please is yourself. Think on it and stop being defensive because you are not understanding what is being said...

I guess it's the way I approach writing--it isn't like writing in a journal--I write what I'm interested in but also try to make it as clear and interesting as I can for anyone else reading it! not defensive, just on a different wavelength.

محمد قرط الجزمي (maqarat) The question is: "what if no one reads what I write? Will I continue write?"
If yes, it means I write for my self before any one else. If no, it means I write to the others, or for some other reasons.

As writers, we write for our selves, but we surly need others to read what we write.
Readers are our mirrors. By them we can see whether what we wrote is beautiful, or we are seeing a dream.

Cherlina Works (httpgoodreadscomcworkss) | 27 comments I write for myself and I write hoping others will appreciate and enjoy my work. Someone gave my book a 4 star rating, so I guess I have accomplished my goal!
