Charmteaser | 38 comments I would like to add a book and it has two ISBN-10 numbers. Which one should I add? Is it possible to add two ISBN-10 numbers?

Beth (bethjustbeth) | 1568 comments Different editions will have different isbn numbers. You'd add each as a separate book, then combine them.

Charmteaser | 38 comments OK, but it's a single edition, it is physically the same book. On the page with all the informations (cover, translator, editor) they've printed two ISBN-10 and I don't know which one to choose. Why should I add this as two editions if it's the same edition?

Beth (bethjustbeth) | 1568 comments I misunderstood. Sometimes they'll list isbn's for other editions on the copyright page, but without seeing it, I can't tell...Is there an isbn-13?

Charmteaser | 38 comments There is an EAN number below the barcode. Should I use this one?

Emy (emypt) | 5037 comments ISBN 13 should start 978 on a hard copy of a book. If the EAN starts like that it is probably the ISBN13 :)

Charmteaser | 38 comments Ok, so it is. :) Do I have to put only the ISBN-13?

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments One of the ISBN-10s probably matches the ISBN-13; you can add that one. (ISBNs match when digits 1-9 of the ISBN-10 are the same as digits 4-12 of the ISBN-13. For example: 123456789X matches to 9781234567891.)
