Around three o'clock, Kat walked into the Institute. She knew she should be hoping to run into somebody, but she had to find the library first. She had to talk to the head, and you could bet that he'd be there. Maybe. Hopefully. She went through the maze like hallways, but came up with nothing but extra rooms. Where was everybody, anyway? Kat knew people lived here, so where were they? She was looking for a man named Jones. She'd heard he was the leader. She'd talk to him about staying here.
If she could ever find him, that is...
((Guilia lives in a completly diffrent time zone so might be a little bit before she;s on.))
Kat glanced around the vast library and the hundreds (at least there were probably more than that) of books. She had read about four of them. When you're on the run, you don't read, you worry about being attacked by demons. Should she open a book and wait, or look to find Jones...Kat had never been big on waiting.
((Helloo! Sorry about that, yeah I live completely off the way!))Jones walked through the Institute, thinking over what he had just discovered through inventory. Shockingly low supplies of everything basically. What was going on?
((It's fine))The man Kat assumed was Jones walked through the door. "Excuse me, are you Jones? I'm Kat. Well, technically it's Katarina Smith, but I go by Kat. I'm looking for a room..."
"Another shadowhunter? You're the second this week! Busy times. And yes, I'm Jones, nice to meet you Kat. Sure we could find you a room if you could just fill out some details for me." Jones smiled and entered the library, rummaging through books until he found the right one, pulled out a pen and asked Kat "Which institute are you from?"
Jones then stood upright and turned around, hearing the door knock. "One moment Kat." he explained, retreating from the library. Travelling all the way downstairs, he opened up the door and looked at Danny. "Hello."
Emma scribbles an iritaz on her arm and walks up the institute steps, tucking her stele away.

"Oh...welcome Danny! Please come in, I was just initiating another member." He invited Danny into the Institute, then returned to the library where Kat was.He caught Kat's answer. "Well that's unfortunate Kat." He sighed, writing down her details. "No parents or anything? And Danny, full name and previous Institute please."
Kat looked at Jones. "If I had parents, I'd still be in Idris. They died three years ago."
Emma went into the weapons room to find a new dagger because she lost the one she threw at a forsaken earlier.
"I'm sorry to hear that Kat. I assume you have no other address then?" Jones sighed. There was always one or two shadowhunter orphans.
Kat shrugged. "The only information I have is my name, age, history, stuff like that. That's pretty much it."
"You've had the full shadowhunter's training I presume? And Danny, your full name?" Jones inquired, writing down the records for them.
"My parents were obsessed with me getting trained, so I ended up training with older kids my whole life, and still being better than them. And I've only gotten better since they died. So yeah, no gaps in my training." Kat stated. She didn't think they'd have to do so much paperwork...
Emma tucked her new dagger in her belt and went to the library, she saw some new people and raised an eyebrow. "What's up newbies?" she greeted in her always amused sounding voice.
Kat looked around. Was there someone here named Newbies, too?
"I was talking to you" Emma said in the same tone of voice as before.
"My name's Kat." Kat stated blandly, her hand instinctively tightening on her blade, as it always did when she met new people.
"Emma" She said, her voice changing to actual amusement when she saw Kats hand on her blade.
Kat saw Emma's gaze flit to Kat's weapon. "Sorry, force of habit. I guess I don't need to do that. But every time I meet someone, they try to kill me."
"Sounds interesting" Emma said a hint of sarcasm creeping into her voice, "But I get where you're coming from, a lot of people would like to kill for some reason" she said smirking as she picked up a book.
"Usually it was my jealous classmates. They were jealous because I was too young to be in their training sessions. I was still better than them, though... Goodness, they hated me." Kat said noncholantly.
Jones nodded and wrote down Danny's details as well as Kat's before shutting the book. "Very good. Glad you've met Emma. Kat and Danny are going to be staying with us. If you have a spare second, could you show them to the spare rooms?" Jones asked Emma.
Kat shrugged. "How many people live here?"
"10 or more. It's getting really full up. Anyways, thanks for checking in and I hope you like it here Kat." Jones smiled.
Emelia nodded "I don't have anything better to do so yeah alright" she said shrugging.
"Cool. Thanks." Jones smiled before going to check records about the weapons.
Kat shrugged. Ten people wasmamdecemt amount. Nothing compared to Idris, but still a decent amount.
Emma waved her hand "Come on I'll show you where to go" she said walked out of the library without looking back to check they were following.
Kat was reluctant to follow. She watched her walk and decided to run after, hand still clenched tightly on her blade.
Emma didn't stop walking until she reached the first room, "Who's taking this one?" she asked opening the door for them to see.
Kay shrugged. "I'll take it." She mumbled.
Emma pointed to a door that was two doors away, "Then that's yours" she said shrugging. She took a few steps back "Hope you enjoy your stay, tell me if there's anything I can do and yada yada yada" she mumbled sarcastically taking a few more steps back.
Emma raised an eyebrow when Danny called her Miss but shook it of and walked back to her room.
Kat tossed her backpack, the only things she owned were inside it, on the bed. She checked her belt, making sure all of her various blades were present and accounted form. She took a deep breath and memorized the steps she had taken to get here from the Library, because she was about to head out again.
Kat looked up at the girl. Kat had been lost in thought, so she didn't even notice that Danny had bumped into her. "For what?" she asked.
Kat was puzzled. Danny had bumped into her? She shrugged it off and decided to go out in the city.
Susan came in with a guarded expression, her muscles tense, her fingers ready to snatch for the knife hidden under the waistband of her jeans. It was stupid to even think about coming in here. The only thing that made her feel that it wasn't to dangerous was the fact that hopefully nobody would recognize her.
Jones paused, looking around, sensing something off with the Institute. Maybe it was only all the new entrants, he hadn't gotten used to so many people here yet.
Susan could hear voices off in the distance but figured asking for directions wouldn't do her much good, it would only draw attention. Her mother had told her to find some guy named Jones so he could contact the clave for them. Not that the Nephilim would bother helping them.
Jones wrote out some notes but still felt uneasy. He got up and began a walk around the Institute.
Susan kept her senses sharp, not trusting her surroundings. She had never been in an institute before and couldn't imagine having to take refuge in one. It felt like a prison to her, a crypt. It was almost as bad as the Silent City, though she knew for a fact that the Silent Brothers were more hospitable than the Shadowhunters that lived above ground.
As he was taking a turn, he felt something creeping up his spine. Turning around quickly, he crept after the elusive shadow.
The slightest hint of movement causes Susan to freeze, her hand creeping to her back, slipping under her shirt to grasp the hilt of her dagger. She knew she was being hasty, but she could never be too cautious with these people.
Jones' eyes flicked around, anxious. "Anyone there?" he called, making sure it wasn't one of the other shadowhunters.
Susan's gaze narrowed slightly at the sound of his voice. "Depends who's asking," she retorted sharply, remaining rooted to her spot, but ready to spring into action if she needed to.
