Nia scratched her head, "Where is he?"
Aly bit her lip. "I don't know...."
Nia swallowed, "You don't think..."?
"No....it couldn't be....." Aly said shaking her head
"Of course not, it's Jones for goodness's sake!" Nia said, but she was unsure.
"Yeah." Aly said. "Jones is okay...."
"I mean like you said...he's Jones!!"((Should we wait for Guilia or keep freaking out?))
((Um... wait for Guilia b/c I don't think anything happened to Jones...))
"Where do you guys think he is?" Jamie asked Nia and Ally.
Nia shrugged at Jamie, "He must be here somewhere," She said. She raised her seraph blade in alarm when she heard Skylar's voice.
Jamie turned to see the new guy. "Hi, Im Jamie." She said with a smile.
Nia smirked and nudged Elizabeth, nodding towards Jamie and Skylar.
"Well we're just looking for Jones, hes the head of the institute." Jamie said to Skylar.
"I saw him not to long ago, see I just got here too from the California institute." Jamie explained. "Then he sent me to go help out with everybody else a few blocks from here."
"Me too. So did you just get here?" Jamie asked. "Well I mean, of course you just got here, what I ment was...where are you from?" She said nervously, trying to think of something to say.
"Born and raised in Los Angeles California, my parents run the institute out there." Jamie said with a smile. She didnt think she'd miss her parents as much as she did.
Jones exited the weapons room, a curious expression on his face. Immediately, he knew something was wrong. "Guys? I'm here? What's going on? Where's Nik and Ryder?"
Aly relaxed when she saw Jones. "Nik betrayed us! He's working with a warlock and they have Ryder!"
((I'm just gonna jump in....))Jaze followed Jones out of the weapons room. She frowned when she heard the words 'betrayed' and 'warlock'.
"What? Nik? Are you sure?" Jones stepped out of the room in disbelief. He scanned everyone's eyes and saw it was true.
((Yay! You're on!))Aly nodded. "him and the Warlock took Ryder...we don;t know to where."
"What about the demon?" Jones inquired.
"It was somehow...bonded to Nik....."
"The warlock's work no doubt. Did you recognise him? We might be able to track him down through the high warlock of new york." Jones suggested.
Jamie grinned at Skylar's earlier comment. "That sounds like a good idea." She said, agreeing with Skylar. "We could go in pairs, so we dont get captured or something."
"That's good but you have to be careful to stick to the Clave laws. This is risky according to their traditions so be careful..." Jones explained, crossing his arms.
"Sure." Jamie said grinning. "And dont worry Jones, we'll be carefull."
"Me too." Jamie said with a nod. "We could go to the weapons room to get them."
Jamie held his gaze for a moment. Then she blushed and turned away. "Ok, follow me." She said.
"You'll need to be girls." Jones sighed, shaking his head. "I won't report to this to the Clave immediately." he decided and turned back to do inventory.
Once they were in the weapons room Jamie grabed a seraph blade. "Do you think we'll need our gear?" She asked Skylar.
Jaze listened to them, then remained where she was when they left the room. "Holy cow," she mumbled. "I need to get out more. I apparently miss everything."
Aly looked over at Nia. "So what should we do now?"
Nia shrugged, "I'm not sure... train?"
"Maybe...but I want to do something to actually help out."
"So what can we do?" Nia asked
Jaze looked over at the girls. "I missed quite a lot," she said. Then she frowned. "What's gonna happen now?"
Nia shrugged and looked at Aly
Aly sighed. "A lot has been happening." She said to Jaze. "First a war brewing between the Vampires and Werewolves and now Nik betraying us...." she shook her head.
Jaze whistled. "Not a good week, huh?" she said.
Jaze stayed silent for a moment before asking, "So..Which is more problematic? The vampire and werewolf situation doesn't sound too good, but neither does Nik."
"Well Nik has Ryder...we can't just leave him with them, but we don;t know where they are now...at least we know where to find the wolves and Vampires."
"Are you ready to go?" Jamie asked Skylar.
"But we need Ryder if we're fighting with one of them," Nia said.
Just then Triss walked in, her nose in "A Tale of Two Cities". She looked up when she noticed them, and quickly snapped the book shut, hoping none of them noticed it. "Umm," she began, her eyes darting about the room, unsure. "I'm sorry I, uh, didn't realize there were people in here." She hid the book behind her back.
