Ryder returned in full Shadowhunter gear, his seraph blades hanging on his belt and the usual runes bright as he just wrote them on. "You still here?" he rolled his eyes teasingly.

Jones sighed and looked over the gang. "Be careful guys. Don't break any Clave laws.""We always are." Ryder winked and snickered to himself as their head of institute walked out.
"So Nik, you ready?" Nia asked.
Isabelle watched as she leaned against the wall.
He took a deep breath. "Of course." Nik adjusted his shirt and removed his gear. He slid a dagger into his pocket and briskly walked out of the room.
Ryder clapped his hands. "To the Hotel Dumort?"
Nia nodded, "I'm game, Isabelle? Aly?"
Isabelle nodding said "yep". Then followed them to Hotel Dumort.
Aly walked in and sighed. "Was it serously only this morning that we talked to Evangaline?"
She nodded, "Time flies when you're a shadowhunter,"
"Well this is defenitly the most eventful day we've had in a while..."
Ryder threw Christian into a mostly empty room and runed the doors shut. "For now." he told them, hopping on a tabletop.
Nia flopped down into a chair, "So what do we do now?"
"I think we've sparked off curiosity for the wolves. They might be investigating on their own." Ryder said, crossing his arms.
"Anyone up for some hunting? I think I'm picking something up." Ryder reached into his pocket and pulled out his sensor. It was going off the charts. "Something's close."
Nia sat up straight, "Like what kind of something?"
"Demonic presence." he concluded, putting his sensor away and reaching for his seraph blade. "Four blocks from here."
"Well I guess we'd better go check it out." Aly said.
Nia nodded and took out her blade
Jamie pulled up in a cab in front of the institute, got out, grabed her bag, and knocked on the big front door.(( You guys have someone who runs the Institute right?))
((Yup! That's Jones (e.g. me!)))Jones opened it after a while and looked at Jamie unreadably. "Hello." he said calmly.
(( cool I was hoping you did :) ))"Hi, my name is Jamie," She smiled at him, "I just got her in New York from the California institute. And I was wondering if I could stay here."
"Welcome Jamie Zander. I heard about you, don't worry. Welcome. The team is out for now, so you can acquaint yourself with the place. I'm Jones by the way." He held out his hand.
Jamie reached out and shook his hand. "Thanks, its nice to meet you." She smiled, then picked up her suitcase and bag and walked inside.
"Pick any free room. The others should be back at any time. Now tell me, since I am your new head of Institute, what skills you have and your weapons preference." he asked, showing her to elevator.
"Im pretty good with weapons," Jamie said modestly, "I prefer to use a bow and arrow. But Im also good at hand to hand combat. My dad, the head of the California institute, tought me." She smiled
"That's good. We don't have anyone with that here. I hope you enjoy our range of weapons." he pressed the elevator button and it creaked upwards.
"Im sure I will." Jamie smiled. "How long have you run this institute?"
"About four years. And it seems there is always a larger majority of girls than boys coming through." he mused, thinking over the numbers who came and went. The elevator came to a stop and the doors opened to reveal the long corridor. "Welcome once again."
"Wow, nice place." Jamie said as she stepped out of the elevator. "Its alot different then the institute in California."
"I've been to the California Institute once, in my much younger days. You have a nice place there too." He paused in front of a door and pushed it open to reveal a bedroom. "Will this suffice?"
"Yes, this is perfect." Jamie said as she walked into her new room and set down her suitecase.
Jones stopped, feeling his pocket vibrate and pulled out his phone. "Hello? Ryder? Yep?" he listened closely and nodded. "Jamie, how would you like to go on your first mission?"
Jamie smiled, "Awesome! I am so ready." She smiled excitedly
"Great. They're facing some unknown demon down the street. You have your steele and seraph blades?" he asked, calling the elevator again.
"Yeah," Jamie said as she walked over to the elevator. She was glad she got to go back into action so soon after arriving.
"Good luck." he nodded her off as the elevator doors closed between them.
The Shadowhunters returned to the Institute
"Jones!!!" Aly shouted as soon as they were inside.
"Where are you!?" Nia called.
Jamie followed the others inside the institute.
