Nia sat down and took a bite out of an apple.

"So, should we update them on what's going on with the werewolves?" Ryder asked, about to put some noodles in his mouth.
"Yeah." ALy sighed. "Might be a good idea." She looked over at nia. "You want to tell them or should I?"
Ryder shrugged, his mouth now filled with noodles.
"I will." Nia said. She turned to Nik and Alexis, "We found out the vampires are planning so wipe out the werewolf population. If that were to happen then the human population of Manhattan would be dead. We're siding with the wolves."
"Is there a specific reason why the vampires want to do that?" Alexis asked
Aly shrugged. "They proably want more power."
"How they plan on wiping off the lycanthropes is still beyond me. I mean, they would need the entire vampire population to attack them in the day time." Ryder snorted.
Something clicked in Nia's head, "Ryder you're a genius! That's what they're planning, to get as many of the vampires they can to band together and take out the werewolves together!"
Ryder raised an eyebrow. "So that means we have to stop them all coming into New York?" he asked, still bemused he actually contributed to something.
"Even if we can do that, we'd still have to deal with Evangeline's coven, and they're pretty powerful."
"So we have to see which covens are convening to attack and not only stop them but to convince Evangeline otherwise?" Ryder double checked.
Nia snorted, "Like we could convince Evangeline of anything."
"You guys lost me at vampires in the daytime." Alexis said
"That's when the wolves are planning on attacking." ALy explained. "They want to attack tommorrow at noon, while the vamps are at the weakest."
"The vampires want to collect a lot of covens of vampires together to take out the wolves in the city, then they will probably move on to another city and another until the lycanthrope's are extinct." Nia explained to Alexis.
"Basically...yeah." Ryder inputted meekly.
Alexis stared at them. "Olay I knew vampires were weird. I did not know they were suicidal."
"Exactly. It doesn't make much sense but we just have to go with the flow." he shrugged.
Nik said nothing, but calmly watched the group in feront of him. "Divide and conquer." He said quietly.
Ryder turned to him. "Hm?" he asked, only half catching Nik's suggestion.
"If we turn the vampires against each other, they would forget about this battle. 'A house divided cannot stand.'" He raised an eyebrow, waiting for a reaction.
"That...that's genius." Ryder snapped his fingers.
((Sorry that I keep going on and off. HECTIC on this side of the line))"And well timed too. Alright, so we need to find out which covens are coming and if we can plant and inside mole to take them down, we'd have crushed it before it even started." he grinned.
"This might actually work." Aly said
Nik nodded as well, delighted they had approved his plan. It seemed he was forgiven.
"So who's our inside person?" Ryder asked, slurping the last of the noodles.
"I thought we needed another vampire?" Ryder thought aloud, dumping the takeout box in the bin.
"Yeah." Aly agreed, looking over at Nik confused.
"What vampire would help us?" Alexis said
Aly thought for a second. "ARe there any that owe us Shadowhunters any favors?"
At that moment, Jones walked into the kitchen. He eyed all the shadwohunters."Alright, all of you in one room frightens me. What are you conjuring up?" he asked suspiciously, walking to grab a drink from the fridge.
((Jones is the head of institute by the way))
Nik smirked. "We're planning something without you. Want in?"
Jones raised an eyebrow. "That does not sound good. Explain further."
"Well, we were pondering aloud about the vampire situation. And I suggested a 'divide and conquer' sort of plan. Now we're trying to figure out which one of our allies to sacrifice to the bloodsuckers." He examined a hangnail and began to bite on it, watching for Jones' reaction.
"That's politically correct." Jones snorted sarcastically. "So you're trying to get someone on the inside?" he checked, opening up a can.
"We were wondering," Aly said "are there any vampires that owe us a favor?"
Jones thought "I havent been in the field for a while. Do you guys have someone?" he asked, gazing at them all.
Ryder looked around and shrugged, disappointedly. "Not very active. Nia? Aly?"
"I don't think so." Aly replied, glancing over at Nia. "Do we?"

Nia shrugged, "If we did once, Evangeline has probably killed them off. I'm not quite sure though, I suppose we could check... somehow?"

"How about we just make them owe us a favour? I mean, get a vampire to owe us something?" Ryder suggested.Jones raised an eyebrow "Purposely put a down-worlder in danger?"
"Excellent." Nia agreed, "If they beg us to spare their life, we have ourselves a spy. If they don't, well then we've just killed another vampire. We can't lose!"
