Ryder got up quickly and saw how easily Nik downed Nia. His face contorted a bit with mixed feelings. "Uhm, thanks."

Aly was quietly sneaking up behind Nik.
Nia pretended to struggle under nik's foot, but she knew exactly what her parabati was up to
Ryder noticed Aly so he, quick as a flash, dashed around Nik and Nia to block her path and ultimately face her.
Aly swept out one of her legs, trying to knock Ryder off his feet.
Ryder lept, hoping Nik didn't take that swing either.
Nia kicked her feet, connecting with Ryders heel
Ryder's foot slipped from under him so he landed on his side, which he quickly turned into an advantage as he swung his feet around to hook at Aly's ankles and tugged hard so she'd fall onto the floor, his favorite combat position.
Ryder quickly grappled with her until he managed to flip it so he was on top of her.
ALy tried to wiggle out from under him.
He sighed quickly, grinning at her. "Not bad." he offered a shrug, a reset if you will.
Aly swung her head forward, trying to hit his head.
Ryder jerked back and off her, laughing a bit. "Cheeky." he scrambled up to fight again.
Aly also got up, watching him carefully,
Ryder rolled his shoulder, trying to work out the kinks due to his several falls.
Aly glanced away from Ryder for a second, looking over at her paribati, she had to find a wway to get back over ther and help her.
Nia struggled under Nik. She reached around, grabbed his ankle, and pulled his foot off her back.
Ryder rolled onto his heels in anticipation for attack.
Aly tried to dodge around Ryder to get to Nia.
Ryder leapt to the side, catching Aly in midattack to tackle her down onto the floor again. Nik wasn't his parabati but it seemed to be girls versus boys.
ALy struggled to get out from under Ryder.
Ryder grappled her once more, deflecting her blows.
Nik had rolled back into a crouch, and was waiting for an opening. He watched as Ryder slid back a little from his position and... smash . Nik placed his hand on Aly's chest and sent her flying into the wall across the room.
Ryder grabbed Nik's shoulder. "Oi! Ease it up there." he warned with a firm voice, looking at his fellow shadowhunter.
Aly grunted as she hit the wall, her eyes narrowing slightly.
Nia ran over to her parabati and helped her up.
Ryder glanced over at Nik. What was wring with him? It was only practice.
Nik shook himself off. "Guess I don't know my own strength." He took a deep breath. "Are you sure you're all right, Aly?"
She nodded. "A little brusied but otherwise I'm fine."
"Maybe we should take a break," Nia suggested.
Alexis walked in and stood against the wall, watching
Ryder nodded. "Okay. Feeling like it anyways." he rolled his shoulders and noticed Alexis. "Hey there." he waved over as he walked to the entrance.
"We're going to eat. Coming?" he asked, pausing as he passed her.
"Sure, why not. What're we eating?"
"Don't know, whatever we can find. We just went to Taki's so we can try to eat here."
Nik shouldered the door open and walked into the hallway.
Ryder followed behind, whistling quietly as he imagined all the foods he was going to eat.
Nia walked behind, "Hungry already Ryder?"
"Seriosly Ryder?" Aly says shaking her head. "You're already hungry?"
"He's always hungry!" Alexis said
"Calm down ladies!" he laughed "It was a good workout." he excused himself.
"Ten minutes workout after two meals and all of the sudden he's hungry. I'm surprised his pants still fit." Nia muttered.
"I'll have you know my metabolism rate is very good." he said proudly, turning the corner into the kitchen. "And it's particularly today as well."
Nik went to the cabinet and grabbed a jar of peanut butter and a loaf a bread. He seated himself and proceeded to spread peanut butter on the bread.
Ryder scanned through the fridge and picked out old Chinese food and some chopsticks. "My mortal foes." he grinned, breaking the wooden sticks apart and began stabbing at the noodles.
