Jones smiled when his wards walked in. "Hey kids. What are you up to, all decked in shadowhunter gear?" he walked to them, his grin slowly disappearing.

"Explain. Aly?" his voice was tough now.
Aly sighed. "Well, the vampires are planning on wiping out the werewolves, we warned them, and now they're planning on attacking." She sighed again. "You know how I feel about werewolves, but even I'm with them on this one.((Just in case you don't know, werewolves, killed Aly's parents when she was little, she's lived at the institute ever since.))
"Have we got any wooden stakes left?" Nia asked.
((thanks))"Actually, they are missing though I'm sure we haven't used them." Jones shook his head "I hope you know what you are doing kids. It's dangerous territory going between down-worlders like that."
Ryder shrugged "Thought it was part of our job.'
"Job? No, people get breaks and retirement from jobs. This is our life." Nia said grimly.
"Then consider it a lifestyle hazard." Ryder grinned and Jones snorted "You guys up for some training practice? You've got to have something against the children of the night."
"Lets do it!" Nia said, standing up.
"Go on first. I'll get the stakes ordered up. We're just going to say they were broken okay? Missing stakes don't go well with the Clave." Jones shook his head and walked off.Ryder clapped his hands in anticipation and looked at them. "What first?"
Nia thought, "Hm... I'd like to work on my combat skills, Aly??"
"Sure." Aly repliled. "I could use some practice."
"So I guess it's the parabatis versus me huh? Well, I saw it coming. Come on. I'm all geared up already." Ryder smirked and walked into the training hall, stretching.
"Who knows," Aly said smiling. "You might actually beat us this time."
"Or not, you know, whatever." Nia said with a wink.
"I really think we need another member. I mean, I'm parabati-less." he whined jokingly.
((Yay! You're on!))Aly laughed. "Hey, not every fight you're ever going to be in is going to be fair."
"Fine. Let's go." he slipped his serpah blades out of his belt and dropped them onto the floor. "Hand-to-hand?"
Nia dropped hers, "Lets go." She said, winking at Aly.
Ryder stepped onto the mat and prepared himself for what he had to do.
Aly looked over at Nia for a second, then started to circle around behind Ryder.
Ryder watched them carefully for their signals. He kept Aly in his vision as she tried to circle back around him.
Nia stepped forward, trying to get Ryder's attention focused on her, not Aly.
He tried to keep both eyes on them but ti was becoming difficult.((Aww, everyone is on and now I have to go.))

Nia zig zagged in his eyesight, jumping in, then out, making him unsure when she was gonna strike.

Ryder kept on the tip of his toes, ready to react in a moment's notice.

Nia lunged forward, trying to draw his attention away from Aly.

Ryder grappled her attack, falling backwards so he was in his best position. He preferred his floor attacks.
From behind Aly attacked his left side.
He saw Aly from the corner of his eye and quickly managed to lock Nia down, rolling so she was on the bottom. In that position, he rolled off her and stood up, ready for their next move.

At the last second Aly switched to his right side.
Ryder sighed and prepared to defend himself once more. He never was really for attacking.
Nia moved to the left so that ryder was surrounded.
Ryder sighed and tried to turn around to face them both again.
ALy moved with him, staying behind him at all times.
Nia stepped to the side, so that he couldn't keep his eyes on both of them at once.
"Ladies. Enough with the teasing." he snickered, readying his hands.
Nik hovered by the door, not quite sure what was going on. His eyes flickered back and forth from Nia to Ryder.
Ryder noticed Nik and grinned. "Help would be appreciated." he called over, eyeing the two girls again.
"Hi!" Nia yelled to the door, without taking her eyes off Ryder. She lunged forward.
At the same instant Aly attacked from behind.
Ryder, seeing a gap between the pair, lept for safety.
Ryder smashed into Nia, their shoulders knocking against one another, but Ryder turned to the side and slipped through, but the impact made him tail spin and hit the floor on his other shoulder.
Nik flew besides Nia and locked her arms behind her. He slammed her into the floor placing his foot on the small of her back to prevent her from getting up. "Got you." He whispered, a small smile coming across his face.
