Terra turned the corner as well, paling a bit when she saw him there. This rouge Shadowhunter needed to be stopped. She went over, checking for a pulse on the slim chance that he was alive.
"What happened here? It must have been Nik...did he take anything?" Nia questioned, pacing around the room and seeing signs of the scuffle. What had Nik come here to do? Kill Jones specifically? She then noticed the open window and the fire escape had been pulled down. Had someone escaped this way?
Ryder panted as he saw the front doors of the Institute, thankful to have made it back to their safe haven alive. "Aly..." he said.
Terra noticed the window as well and walked over to it, seeing two figures coming towards the doors. "Do you know them?" She asked, casting a glance at Nia. Aly gve a smile as she saw the Institute before them. She picked up her pace, hurrying for the door. Would they be safe from Nik?
((You never brought her/him in before but you can say they were there the whole time.))
Nia hurried to the window as well and looked down nervously, wondering if it was another attack. However, upon seeing her parabati and Ryder, she felt an overwhelming sense of relief. "Yes! Yes, they're from the Institute!" she replied, running downstairs to open the doors.Ryder began jogging the rest of the way and reached the front doors just to have them swing open with Nia at the door handle.
Aly smiled as she saw her parabati at the door. "Nia!" She gasped, coming in and hugging her best friend. She was home. She was finally back. What if Nik came here again though?
Nia hugged onto Aly but felt her parabati was bruised and tired in her arms. "When Nik took you I...what did he do?" she questioned, ferrying the both of them into the Institute's safety for the moment. Ryder held onto the wall to catch his breath, happy to see a familiar place, even if it was dark and somber.
"It's a really long story and I'll explain everything later."Terra had come down as well to see what was going on.

"Terra, this is Ryder and Aly," she introduced, pulling them upstairs as her good mood faded. "And there's a lot of things that have happened here as well, but with Jones gone, we need to focus on the game plan, what we're going to do next. Are you both strong enough to talk?"
((Ryder knew already. he told Aly. it was when he'd gotten away and Nik and Xavier came after him.))

((Lol XD))Aly gave a nod. "I'm exhausted but I can talk. Ii want Nik gone as soon as possible." Someone needed to kill Nik. And soon. Before he caused anymore damage.
"That's a given. The longer he lives, the worst things will become. But how?" Nia wondered. Ryder tried to think back to their imprisonment, if anything there told them his weakness. "He's a vain person, and very relentless. Perhaps we can use that against him?"
"How?" Terra asked, interested at the idea. "How many people does he have on his side? nd Nia, you mentioned on the way here that you guys had allied with the wolves? Would they help take him down?"
"We are the only two experiments we know he has..." Ryder began. "But if he has surrounded himself with other weak willed downworlders, I wouldn't be surprised. But downworlders, we can take care of." Nia began to think on what they all had said. "The wolves will help us, especially if vamps are involved. Nik has been causing problems for everyone in New York."
"I know he has a few vamps at least considering joining." Aly spoke up. "Him and Xavier talked to them once when they dragged me along." She bit her lip. "Is the Clave going to do anything?"
"The clave is just and firm in its mysterious ways...if they get involved, I don't know what they'd do to the two of you now that you live outside of any labels," Nia responded, biting her nail. "Nik's got quite the army for himself, but he does not inspire loyalty except in the manic freaks like Xavier," Ryder concluded.
"Maybe we cn get his followers to turn on him somehow?" Aly suggested, knowing that Nia was right. The Clave wouldn't know what to do with them. They'd find out eventually though. She was sure of that.
"I don't think the vamps are unquestioning. If we gave them the right terms, they'll maybe turn around," Nia agreed, seeing sense in that method. "But how?" Ryder questioned.
"Show them that as it is they've picked the loosing side?"
"Or blackmail. I'm not against playing dirty," Nia told them harshly. "Not after Jones." Ryder inhaled, seeing the plan form. "Whatever it takes."
Aly nodded, eyes hardening a bit t the mention of Jones again. He'd always been like a father figure ever since she came to the institute. "Nik will pay."
"And the quicker, the better for everyone," Nia added. "Let's go see the wolves then, maybe they have some leverage over the vamps we could use," Ryder offered.
Aly hesitated a bit but nodded. She still didn't necessarily like werewolves but right now they were way better than Nik.((In case you don't remember since it's been awhile, Aly's parents were killed my a rouge werewolf when she was really young, she pretty much grew up in the institute.))
((Got it))"Everyone going? Or do the two of you want to stay and rest?" Nia offered. "Aly? Do you want to stay?" Ryder shook his head. "I'll go with you."
Aly shook her head. "I'm coming." she bit her lip. "That's what they did to me Nia. They used werewolf blood on me...." She admitted to her parabati.Terra frowned at that, not saying anything though.
Nia wanted to comfort her parabati but realised now was the time for professionalism. "Maybe they could help you. No one knows more about being a wolf than them," she offered quietly.
She nodded, still not sure just what she could do. She was stronger. Stronger than even when she used strength runes. What else did the wolf blood do to her?
"Let's go then," Nia concluded, walking to the exit.((To the wolf cave?))
"Jones..." she repeated, making it to the mezzanine floor and noticing the scuffing on the floor. The door to the library was open and she spotted one foot sticking out. "Oh god." She felt sick to her stomach as she turned the corner and saw Jones in his pool of blood.
