I just finished Part One. It covers the Constitutional Convention and Luther Martin's role in opposing ditching the Articles of Confederation.. I am looking forward to finishing this book because it covers the often overlooked losing side of history. THE WINNERS GET TO WRITE THE HISTORY.

Part Two covers the debate in legislators. Although, the author does start implying that the Federalist were motivated by self-interest, but that the Anti-Federalist were not. The author makes illusions to what he considers situation in which the Anti-Federalist predication come true; George W. Bush, Richard Cheney, LBJ, etc. It does seem that the author is a less the even handed in Part Two than in Part One. I continue to enjoy the book and am looking forward to finishing it.
