Shelby (shelcatzoe) Suggest titles for the September 2012 Book of the Month! Please use the add book/author tool (it makes it easier to see what has been suggested and how many times). I'm trying to get a jump start on this so we have enough time to get the book!

Shelby (shelcatzoe) Great suggestions, thanks!

I'd like to suggest Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking .

Nice pick, Shelby. I thought it was life-changing. I've written a full executive summary of it at newbooksinbrief.wordpress.com

Cheers

Aaron Thibeault (thebookreporter) | 16 comments I'd suggest the new book by David K. Randall called 'Dreamland: Adventures in the Strange Science of Sleep'. It was superb. The book takes a look at the science behind pretty well every facet of sleep you can think of from sleep deprivation, to natural sleep patterns (and how it changes over the course of a lifetime), to putting your kids to bed, to dreaming, to sleepwalking (and the bizarre phenomenon of committing crime while sleepwalking), to insomnia, to just plain getting a better night's sleep. Fascinating stuff. I've written an executive summary of the book available at newbooksinbrief.wordpress.com
