This was an odd book. I liked Daisy, but thought the whole revived drug and program had the potential to be either really good or really bad. I really wasn’t sure most of the time while reading, and the same conclusion at the end of the book as well. You can see why some of the events of the book happened, that the person in charge would have to have no agenda, hard to do given the miraculous results of revive. God’s actions surprised me, yet didn’t. What did surprise me was that Mason was willing to listen to Daisy. However at the end, when we learned of Mason’s history his actions made more sense.

I think because of Daisy’s background she had a unique look on life, that death wasn’t really death. So when faced with Audrey’s situation it really threw her and her reactions were drama filled. I was surprised that Daisy came clean with Matt, worried that it was the end of him. I was surprised how things ended with them. With the ending I have hope that Daisy can now have a normal life.
