Jess Perhaps I'm just stupid for not knowing this but is it suppose to be a gaming hell or a gaming hall? When I first saw "hell" in the novel I thought it was a typo but I guess not. Could anyone enlighten me? I've only read a couple Regency romances so far.

Amanda Gaming hell. It meant a seedy sort of private casino where men of a certain class could gamble, mingle with rogues and women of negotiable virtue.
