Oak Tree | 50 comments 4 people read and reviewed this book and all felt it deserved a recommendation. Two people read the second book in the series too, and felt it is even better. It was lighthearted, exciting and funny, based on a private investigator who can see ghosts. Some reviewers would recommend it highly but the average overall is
1 acorn - a Recommended Read.

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments I'm starting this book next, I'm taking a break from the Grimm's Brothers fairy stories they are quite repetitive I think I read the most of them in the couple of fairy books by Andrew Lang that I have read

message 5: by M.A. (new)

M.A. Comley (melcom) One of my favourite Indie books so far. Good choice. Terri is a fabulous writer and lovely lady to boot. :-)

Funnily enough I read this last week - it had been on my kindle for a while, languishing in my TBR list. I was going through the list and clearing out books I probably won't read, and came across Loose Ends - I enjoyed it so much that I read the second book straight away.

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments YAY! Terri you have joined that means I can add you to my "Our Authors" challenge (I hope you don't mind being owned, it is owned in a loving caring way and not that we just see you as a machine to churn out stories to keep us amused).

I'm about 20% in and really enjoying it so far, still got lunch hour to go too WOOP!

Terri Reid | 7 comments Hello!!!! I am overwhelmed by your response. Mel told me you were a wonderful bunch of people. :)Thank you, Jud, they are in the right order. :) I will start an author's thread - that's a great idea. But it won't be until next week (at the soonest) because I have to finish Book 8 - and I have promised my editor I won't get distracted by anything else - for at least a week. :) (Have you seen the movie "UP" and the dog who gets "Squirrelled?" - yes, that's me. :) I'll check back (when my editor is not looking ;) ) and I promise to keep in touch!!! Terri

I LOVED IT!

Kay (Golden Girl) | 2193 comments Started reading it but not got far as distracted by Olympics but am sure will enjoy

message 31: by Terri (new)

Terri Reid | 7 comments Thanks so much Anita. :) I'm writing as fast as I can. :)

Jud - I'm so glad you loved it. :)

Kay - I did spend a little downtime watching the Olympics last night - they are amazing!!

message 32: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments I enjoyed this one! The characters felt 'real' which I put down to the fact that they obviously had some back-story. Mary had a past police career and the Sherrif had his wife's unsolved disappearance colouring his take on life. Altogether I found it a refreshing, easy-going read. Very nicely done!

message 33: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments I just bought book number 2

I'm working on #10 right now and I just released a short story to about Mary's brother, Sean. He will be featured in my next series and I wanted to see how my readers feel about him. Thanks again for reading my books!!! Terri
