Gina (zaphira) | 3 comments I have finished my novel with several re-writes and it is now ready, but I need a reputable editor to edit my work, or any suggestions that any of you writers have that I can follow up. Also have any of you tried to publish on Amazon self publish, how does it work?
Thank you
Gina

Jeane Rhodes | 2 comments I have published on CreateSpace, which is Amazon's subsidiary, so I assume the one you are talking about. It is a relatively easy process and I have been pleased with the result. I didn't use any of their editing or marketing services, so am completely responsible for the appearance of my book and it's contents, as well as all marketing. This has not been easy, but I am glad I took this route.

Gina (zaphira) | 3 comments Hi Jeane
Did you find it worth wile doing that?
Or would it be better trying to find an agent?

Jeane Rhodes | 2 comments The primary disadvantage to self-publishing is the marketing. I hadn't anticipated how difficult that would be. An agent would know the ins-and-outs of that process and might offer quite an advantage in that regard. My book has been available for almost 3 years and the sales have been trickling in for most of that time.
